Feb 26th 2008 1:50PM OS X really is more inherently secure than Windows. OS X is based on multi-user secure UNIX, while Windows is based on old single-user code dating back to 1985. The Win32 API is disastrous in terms of its security record.

"Oh jeez not wowinsider too....
I don't know how to make it any clearer. THERE IS NO BOYCOTT.
THERE IS NO BOYCOTT.
People are simply queuing for BGs that net them the best honor for their time. If the horde play with a certain strategy then the chances of an Alliance win go down dramatically. It isn't impossible, but it isn't as easy as L2P either.
There is no boycott. Don't be an idiot."
That's a boycott, moron. Boycott is when you refuse participation in something.
Alliance are just too big of babies to actually stop and defend SHGY. When they do that, they win. The times they've done it in Stormstrike, they win. However, most of the time, they quietly ride past as if the Horde isn't there. They don't defend their reinforcements in a reinforcement-based game.
In other words, despite the fact the Horde is defending its nodes, Alliance refuses to. So they lose in Stormstrike and then claim the map is imbalanced.

"a PET / DEBUFFER class beats the PRIMARY RANGED DAMAGE class at damage. gg blizz"
It's weird how mages think they should just be top caster DPS by default. What makes you the primary ranged damage class? Why are others not allowed to compete with you?
Blizzard flat-out stated at Blizzcon that warlocks are supposed to be good single-target DPS while mages are good AoE DPS.
Nov 10th 2007 3:56PM It's funny how Alliance PvP videos always center on Alterac Valley, every time.
Nov 9th 2007 10:58AM "52. When locks get a nerf in fear, then I can see making their dots more powerful."
Fear has been nerfed to the point it doesn't even last beyond five seconds. But I bet you've got no problems with rogue stuns, mace warrior stuns, druid cyclone, mage frost nova, etc. right? Heaven forbid a class have a five-second CC on diminishing returns that everyone trinkets out of anyway. Learn2play.

You clearly don't understand the issue. The damage coefficients already treat Corruption as instant, and Blizzard is handing out trainable talents to other classes already. Yet every warlock must waste 5 talent points, and then listen to the whining from others because they can't stand that WoW is not a dueling game.
"18. Locks are QQing that if they spend most of their talents in one or two talent trees, they cannot also get the benefits from the third tree?
If there is a problem with itemization, by all means fix that then, but the solution being to hand out the benefits from one talent tree to every lock is just pure madness.."
No, they're QQing that the game already treats Corruption as instant-cast in its damage coefficients, so warlocks are forced to waste 5 talent points. Everybody specs 5/5 Corruption as their first talent when leveling, and the only ones who don't have it are using raid specs. It's a first level affliction talent--it's not some talent in the middle of a tree that they're handing out to everyone, like what they're doing for mages with Ice Block!

I love my Mac, and I feel sorry for Windows users. You're either stuck using the disastrous Vista, or you're stuck using XP from way back in 2001. Nobody would use Windows by choice, they HAVE to use it.
As for this bug, Blizzard has said they consider it an OS bug and have filed it with Apple's Radar system.
Nov 3rd 2007 1:18AM Serennia is the infamous gnome warrior everyone was linking on the forums who is #1 in all Arena brackets. I'm hardly going to take any of his complaints seriously.
