Apr 6th 2009 9:30PM An Archdruid class would go well with an Emerald Dream expansion. Emerald Dream would also go hand-in-hand with adding more content to Aszhara, Moonglade, and Mt. Hyjal (not the CoT raid but the actual zone).
Admittedly I have no idea how Gilneas would be connected... that actually would have been more suited to the theme of the current expansion. If they're going to do anything with Gilneas, I'd expect to see it in a 3.x patch BEFORE the next expansion.
Feb 19th 2009 8:24PM Actually, I think the current state of the economy is exactly what Blizzard intended. Back in Patch 2.3 (or maybe 2.2), they jacked up the amount of gold that bosses drop, and they srarted introducing tons of daily quests. I think the reason was to drive the professional gold-sellers out of business. Firstly, players are less tempted to buy gold because it's a lot easier to obtain legitimately, and second, by devaluing the in-game currency, Blizzard made it harder for the gold-sellers to operate profitably.
Nov 11th 2008 4:11PM I'm ready for the last two critters in Northrend. Getting all the others wan't too difficult. I used the comments at Wowhead as a guide.
The hardest one was the parrot, and it turned out a bit funny too. I rode around Un'Goro Crater for over 30 minutes looking for where I had remembered seeing parrots, but couldn't find one. Finally I decided to check Wowhead to see where they should be, and when I alt-tabbed back to the game, there was one literally flying in front of me.
Nov 10th 2008 7:25PM Wait... Honolulu? I reserved mine at Gamestop at Windward Mall in Kaneohe. Are they having a midnight launch too?
Nov 7th 2008 6:52PM I'd be extremely impressed if Blizzard was really forward-thinking enough to include a still-unknown continent in a pseudo-map like that. If you go to Champion's Hall in Stormwind and look at the map spread out on the table, Kalimdor is clearly visible, but there's just ocean where Azuremyst and Bloodmyst Isles should be.
Nov 7th 2008 12:07PM Been working on the cooking achievements (Outland Gourmet and the Rokk's quests), and consequently I have food out the wazoo. I also have a boatload of scrolls from skilling up Inscrition. I'm about as ready as I can be. :)
Nov 4th 2008 2:58PM It'll cost you about $40 and a few days of your time, but I really recommend playing through all of the single-player campaigns in Warcraft 3 if you haven't already. You'll get a good overview of the story and a feel for who the important characters are.
Oct 30th 2008 3:34PM Stupid, dumb, inane idea.
Do people who don't play Shamans, for example, really need to sort through posts about the totem quests, or if they don't play Druids, do they care about the Swift Flight Form quest? There is so much that's unique to every class, and the class forums are the place to discuss that.
Oct 6th 2008 1:53PM I've also been trying to find out the minimum character level to go beyond 375 tradeskill, and I haven't found any definitive answer. However, my best quess would be level 65. That would be consistent, since the progression would be level 5, 20, 35, 50, 65.
Sep 3rd 2008 3:17PM Shadowstep not being usable while rooted makes me a *very* happy
