Feb 25th 2012 9:41PM Tyler, you are entirely too picky.
Feb 23rd 2012 9:00PM Cataclysm was a failure because they didn't properly hype Deathwing in Wrath, they brought back Ragnaros as a new end raid boss (as well as Nefarion and Onyxia for the third time), ZA and ZG instead of new content, they didn't use their best new zones (they thought Mount Hyjal was the best instead of the worst new zone?), and Twilight: Eclipse.
They succeeded in redoing Azeroth, which was quite the feat. They improved story questing (and actually made it too streamlined) and did better with balancing classes than ever before.
MoP seems like more of the same successes (balance, world building) and failures (everything else).

The attitude that casual players won't get better has always been weird to me. But I have indeed seen players just not get better. How is that possible? What are you guys playing, that you aren't paying enough attention to realize maybe you could get better results by using WASD (for instance)?
Anyway, I'm fine with different levels of difficulty, but there should be some reward for doing well, don't you agree? Better gear certainly isn't a carrot, if you don't need it to see the content. What do you suggest?
Or should lower difficulties just be made available at a later date?
