Sep 6th 2007 10:35AM This is what happens at the end of the initial 5-man Gronn quests at Blade's Edge, when you become King/Queen of the Ogres and that opens up the Ogri'la quests.
The coolest part about that quest line for me is that during it, the Bladespire ogres that you were killing before when you first rode up into the mountains become neutral to you and you can now ride along the valleys with no problem.
Sep 5th 2007 4:29AM Just because you worship them doesn't mean they have to like you.
In fact, worshipping them because they're evil, sadistic bastards is probably a good idea, so they kill you last.
Aug 29th 2007 8:10PM Blizzard can't win, really. Announce a date, people will hold you to it and bitch if it's late. Don't announce, people will bitch that it's uncertain. But to break a promise is worse than to not promise at all, so I can see where they're coming from.
I, for one, have no problem with "It'll be ready when it's ready." It doesn't necessarily stop me being impatient, but at least I'm a bit more assured that when it's released, it's not a rush job, bugs notwithstanding.
Aug 18th 2007 9:50PM I'd really like to read the story of how Rhonin got to be head of the Kirin Tor, considering how much of a screw-up they considered him to be in the day.
Aug 15th 2007 8:15PM For a Dwarf Hunter, the Joker Saints' "Bullets and Beer".
Aug 15th 2007 6:26PM "Our keyboard chemistry is undeniable" was probably the best line in there. That's going in the .sig file.
Aug 11th 2007 9:04PM There is no AFK in the Peace Cave. Or sex in the champagne room, come to think of it.
Aug 8th 2007 7:18PM Aside from the horrific scansion of some parts of the song, they might need to be careful about the songs at all, since they're using the exact tune of "Part of Your World".
The law on such things is murky at best, but they're not making fun of "The Little Mermaid", just retooling the lyrics, which may take it entirely out of parody and into satire - the latter which is not a defence to copyright infringement. Note that artists like Weird Al get permission, and others (like in The Simpsons) at least tweak the tune so it is reminiscent, but not an exact copy of, the original music.
Aug 7th 2007 5:26PM I did not hear anything about Grim Batol or Uldum being opened at Blizzcon. At the Lore and Quests panel, it was said specifically that Uldum wouldn't be opened in WotLK, but Ulduar/Ulduour would be.
Aug 6th 2007 11:11PM @11: I think it's a "If you build it, they will come," kind of situation. Blizz needs to put in the midlevel content to attract people, not the other way around.
