Jun 7th 2010 7:26PM Is there any good place to buy Warcraft artwork posters, or just warcraft related posters? I'd love to have some of those at home, but have not seen any of the major poster retailers carry any of this stuff. Is there even such a place?
Oct 28th 2009 1:48PM I dont like to be forced to DE items for a group.
Especially on PuG's. Sometimes you run a group with people who are just total jerks and asshats from the get-go, rude, obnoxius, roll need on offspec gear against people who need it for mainspec (DK's rolling on Tank gear, even though the tank in teh group needs it, cause "I have to build a set somehow!")
I am the type of person who wont leave a group, because when I start a dungeon I like to finish it, but in the type of groups i described above, I never let them know I can DE, because I'm not in the mood to be doing them any favors.
Also, I spent time on leveling up my enchanting, do I get any benefit from DE-ing items for groups that I cant stand?
Now, If they add an option to roll on mine, skin and herb in the group, this wont be a huge problem for me, but i didnt level my tradeskill to be an DE-bot
Aug 11th 2009 4:38PM But the US government does tell us we cant use the word Fuck.
Ever heard of the FCC?
Ever hear that word uttered on PBS, or any publicly owned TV station?
Jul 17th 2009 1:20PM Is your response serious?
if WoW is your hobby or scheduled activity, and you keep going AFK to chit chat on the phone thats just rude.
What if you were playing in a basketball game with your friends? Would you leave the court everytime your phone rang and make your other 4 teammates wait for you?
Cause, you know, real life is more important than basketball (or any other hobby/activity you might be participating in.)
Your probably one of those rude people who keeps their cell phone on in the movies, and then answers it while it rings.
Jul 17th 2009 1:13PM I think youve answered your own question.
Tell them your a helpfull guild, not a welfare guild.
Farming gear for 9 alts isnt going to help the guild progress.
For some people, you cant just "easily" break it to them.
Jul 9th 2009 8:24AM Oh,
And I forgot to add, that this feature wouldnt even affect characters at their level cap, since there is no need to gain XP.
Jul 9th 2009 8:21AM I think it would be a great idea.
I think our characters should be fatigued after playing for 8 hours, and exhausted after playing 12 hours. This is starting from normal state.
It makes sense, and if your playing everyday for that long, well, youve got a problem.
I think rested XP could kick in after youve been logged out of that character for 8 hours, 6 if you rest in an inn. Then it could take a set amount of time, or a set amount of xp before you return to normal state.
This would bring the level of immersion much higher, which has been lately lacking in the game.
Jun 18th 2009 9:22AM I’ve noticed that I have much more burnout in WOTLK than I did in any previous installment of the game. I’m a casual gamer, I work a full time job (8-6), have a girlfriend and 2 cats, so I only spend about 2-3 hours roughly 3 days a week playing WoW. Here are my reasons why I burnout so much
1. Heroics are not heroic anymore – They’re MUCH easier than in BC, the badge rewards don’t go as far as in BC, and no one really wants to run them anymore (Silver Hand-A). I believe that there is a serious lack of challenge in them.
Remember the CoT heroics in BC? I’ve suggested adding more hard modes to heroic dungeons – ones that drop emblems of valor, like if you do the boss the achievement way, or some harder way.And heroic reset timer is 24 hours. But raids? Well, that’s my next point.
2.Naxx difficulty – Everyone says that Naxx is easy. I agree. I don’t agree it’s easy if you show up wearing quest greens and blues, unless the rest of the group carries you. You used to have to get some heroic gear before you stepped foot in a raid (Kara).
Now, people ding 80 and go straight to the Naxx LFG. I’ve been on so many disastrous PuG’s which made me want to quit the game. I’ve joined groups, got saved, only to watch the group disband 2 hours later, or spend more time LFM than actually killing stuff.
So I’m locked out for the rest of the week yay. I’m in a small guild, so even when we have a guild run, we always end up Pugging. The amount people AFK on PuG’s is just staggering.
Anyway just my 2 cents on my burnout
May 18th 2009 4:32PM I'm Polish and I 100% approve of this.
Unfortunately, living in the US will mean I wont be able to play on those realms :(
Cant wait to see all the quest text/NPC speeches in Polish :)
Man, there are going to be some HILLARIOUS tranlsations going on.
