May 27th 2010 3:37PM @cromulentgeek I am talking about the ereader app on the iPad specifically, the subject of this article, which doesn't allow you to side load anything.

Barnes & Noble launches eReader for iPad app, we go hands-on {Engadget}

May 27th 2010 2:58AM I love how they base the reader on the tech they acquired when they bought eReader and Fictionwise, they even call the app ereader, yet it wont read books purchased from Fictionwise or ereader.com.

Dear Aunt TUAW: How do I use my Apple TV in the car? {TUAW.com}

Mar 2nd 2010 11:55PM We use an iPod Touch hooked up to a dual screen dvd player set. Much easier than swapping discs mid-trip and we can control it from the front seat while the kids are in the back row of the minivan. Just make sure your dvd player has an aux in port. You can take the same setup inside to hookup to the tv when you arrive. Just make sure you have a usb power adapter for the car and the wall to charge the ipod.

If the kids are young, the iPad or giving them an iPod Touch doesnt work too well since you cant lock the screen when video is playing on the device (using an aux out cable you can). So little fingers will keep stopping the movie.

Clearwire branding true 4G WiMAX rollouts 'CLEAR,' upgrading pre-WiMAX areas nationwide {Engadget}

Sep 24th 2009 9:59AM Yeah, the Clear site has had an outdated map for a while. We're a Clear dealer and we found that a lot of areas in town show no coverage on the online map but get great signal.

Clearwire branding true 4G WiMAX rollouts 'CLEAR,' upgrading pre-WiMAX areas nationwide {Engadget}

Sep 24th 2009 9:45AM Hrm, the website at clear.com hasnt changed significantly in months. They've been using the Clear brand, with the swirl logo, since launch here in Las Vegas. All our gear has the Clear name and logo on it. We've never had anything labeled Clearwire and the service has been live for a while. Not sure where the reports that the website clear.com is new are coming from.

Jenny McCarthy getting the Oprah seal of approval, which may include a talk show {AOL TV}

May 4th 2009 5:08PM Jenny McCarthy doesnt fight against autism, she fights against children. Her actions put children at risk, its as simple as that.

Shame on Oprah for supporting her.

News regarding this season's Doctor Who finale {AOL TV}

Jun 30th 2008 9:42PM I dont download it from the BBC, I think thats streaming anyway though I've never tried the iplayer. I download the one that airs on the BBC the night it airs and I can watch it or convert it from divx to mp4 to play on the AppleTV or my iPod if I'm not going to watch on my laptop.

News regarding this season's Doctor Who finale {AOL TV}

Jun 26th 2008 11:43PM It's on SciFi? You can just download the ones from the BBC the night they air. Watching a tv show via broadcast... how quaint.

Blizzard announces level 70 PvP weapon rewards {WoW}

Jan 5th 2007 1:46PM The new stuff doesnt look as uber for the level as the existing level 60 rewards. I think quest/instance loot will be the way to go in the expansion. However the change in the honor system at least makes good gear available to those who dont want to do anything more than a 5 man instance.

Also, I got the HWL gun on my hunter. I wanted the bow, for aesthetics, but the gun and crossbow are much better for burst damage in PVP. Also they dont burn ammo as fast.
