Jul 11th 2007 1:48AM "So a DoT can't crit, it can be completely resisted on application and can be partially resisted when it ticks, on top of that it can be dispelled by multiple classes doing nothing more than wasting some mana on both sides and soon resilience will reduce it's damage."
DoTs may not crit, but their damage output is balanced around that fact. If they could crit their base damage would be much lower.
Other spells can be completely resisted and partially resisted just like DoTs.
Other spells can simply be negated by nothing more then several classes just throwing a heal.
And on top of all that they are already effected by resilience!
May 9th 2007 1:35PM Why are people counting Nihilum's bugged out kill as a world first? Lady V killed herself, even they have said as much.
Congrats Method on the first legit kill.
Apr 24th 2007 9:36AM I needed a good laugh today and some of the comments in this thread took care of that perfectly.
So far my favorite was the lock who says "We aren't OP its just our job to own everyone." And before saying that he actually says the class needs a buff with the ability to get out of a stun lock.
Mages don't need more aggro control, they have plenty as is. They either need more health so they don't die as fast or to have their glass cannon status reinstated. Alot of people seem to think mages are still #1 DPS, you just need to take a look at the damage meters of the top guilds to see thats not true.
Okay rant over. Priests need some healing buffs, and shamans need something. No matter what roll they take any other class seems way more useful for their job.
