Mar 31st 2008 1:04PM Scored one of these used a while back. Never had any issues with it at all including MINIOMGBATTERYFFAILSZZ!!!1 up there. Had mine for 2 years and it was used for at least 2 prior, no battery change. Most durable of all of them as well.

Installed linux on it and all the other fun tricks. It is upgradable as long as the CF card you buy is ATA compatable, but by the time you have bought an 8 or 16GB card and the Mini you could have a fat nano that will play video. Sooo its a toss up on price/value/need/hack and the such. Decent stuff tho, + I heart woot!

Dec 7th 2007 6:57PM Back when I was 11 and my dad was in the navy (HSL-37) in 1991 you could play tic-tac-toe on one of the cathode radar screens in an H-2 Seasprite!

It was cool for about 30 seconds, but tic-tac-toe isnt nearly as interesting as the cockpit of a helicopter when you are 11 =D

I understand that there may be more manufacturing processes due to the express-card interface and speed, but I am sure there are plenty of those interfaces on the market. Just slapping a few chips behind that is in now way that exspensive. Plus, there is no shortage of space in that chassis compared to a 16GB SDHC, so you know it isnt one single chip.

I think when they hit the market they will be priced around $350 and $650, and w/ that much cash I could do a 'Scrooge McDuck money dive' in to the pile of SD cards and converters I would have.

People, who cares about the wall color? Who new all these WoW-Playin haters are also intierior decorators, which would explain why they are also hating on the guitars. Because whoever owns a Dime guitar has has to have huuuuge balls to even play it, let alone walk onstage w/ it (or own 2 of them). (Which obviously our intierior decorators, dont have)

These are the same people who hate on my swift rashazzi cuz they dont have one, and just wanna say 'O the tiger is better' which essentully translates to 'I want one of those, and, I now dislike this person who has one because of my own insecurities and lack of ability.'

Get over yourselves people.
