Ask WoW Insider: Stay at home mom wants to give back to the community {WoW}

Jul 21st 2008 1:03PM /tar Tayluca

I'm not gonna go through who was right and who was wrong, but address the question.

There's already been some great suggestions. A blog is always great. Wowwiki isn't a bad idea. I doubt you'd want to start a new guild if you're already in a successful raiding guild. I saw something about doing warcrafts. That's a great activity you can do with your kids. Modeling clay murlocs, draw your toon in chalk on the sidewalk. Paint, make plushies, everything and anything. I know there's a blog or two out there on that.

My new suggestion would be to make a new, free leveling guide. Its a HUGE project to take up as much or as little time as you want. You can put it down for a week or if you have lots of down time it could eat up time. You'd have to take the time to learn a little bit about setting up a website, and then go through all the quests. Along with it you could start a new toon to find every quest so you can discover them all. Each page you could have where to find this quest, questgivers, where the quest ends, difficulty level, anything you could think of.

Either way, good luck Tayluca!

Study shows Horde have advantage for wearing red {WoW}

Jun 18th 2008 7:58PM Its something I sort of noticed while in High School watching the football games. My school normally wore red on black. No one else in the league used black, and if they had red it was with white or blue. Our team was no bigger nor anymore skilled than the other teams, but everyone (from the other teams) talked like they were big scary guys. The uniform can have something to do with how you are represented.

Breakfast Topic: Your favorite playing partner {WoW}

Mar 6th 2008 2:41PM My boyfriend and I met on wow and its great fun. He plays a lock, shammy, and pally. I play a druid, warrior, and mage. We mix and match our toons to do everything in the game. He was a PvP'er and I was a raider, but now we do a little bit of everything together. Its so much fun having that person who you KNOW and you know what theyre going to do next. I know I can count on him to bop me and he knows he can count on my innervate.

The Care and Feeding of Warriors: Play Your Alts! {WoW}

Aug 3rd 2007 1:54PM Bravo! Once I started leveling my resto druid and raiding with her, I got to be a much better tank. But I think the opposite is even better. Im a much much better healer for knowing what tanking is like. And leveling dps I am much more mindful of my threat than I might be.

Breakfast Topic: Capturing your character's essence with art {WoW}

Jul 30th 2007 7:00PM My warrior would be in all her plate with her helm under one arm and a huge weapon in her other hand. She'd have a huge grin on her face; all her buddies gathered around her, arms over shoulders. They'd all be laughing and having a good time with a pile of something dead behind them.

My druid I painted in a dark forest at night doing the roar emote. Turned out pretty neat.
