Dec 19th 2009 5:57AM noooooooooooooooooooooo's

Just listening to the last podcast as I flew back from London to Glasgow made me laugh so much, and its the podcast where i'll miss your input the most!

Sad day for but best of luck to you - you'll be missed!

Totem Talk: Tales of a Blueberry Shaman {WoW}

Jul 20th 2007 9:30AM @12 Totally agree. Doesn't this come out every other week aswell, compared to every week for the other classes? Don't get me wrong, something is better than nothing but we seem to be the only class missing serious class specific forums/blogs/chats.

Totem Talk: What's wrong with Shamans? {WoW}

Jun 22nd 2007 6:43AM Specc'd resto since the start and currently very close to dinging lvl 68.

I really do think we are a underused class. I have healed for my guild since the start and have never had a problem keeping them alive - chain heal, as mentioned above, scales very well and as we have levelled without a main tank, instance healing has always involved 2-3 players being healed at a time. I also have no shortage of whisphers from groups needing healers for instances.

Mana efficiency I would agree is rubbish....its an artform to not go oom in long battles. Water shield is pointless tbh, and while mana tide is great, it should either last longer or heal a bigger % or even be trainable. Earthshield however is very good and has made levelling alot someone mentioned above, you last along time but solo'ing every kill can take a while ;-)

No CC as mentioned already is a big downside. I personally think the elemental totems are good for the class - as we have no main tank we've been using the stone elemental as a tank for the last 2 levels and while nto great, has really helped. Pity there is a 20 min cd....?!?! Aside from the fact that given the low population of shammys on the servers, most people are surprised when they seen on and that gives you an extra 2-3 seconds to cast/run away/etc etc.

A summary of shaman super skills {WoW}

May 7th 2007 5:06AM Enhancement shamans can kick ass in DPS, well they did until 2.1 when the windfury proc goes away.

My main is a 62 orc resto shammy and I love the class - whilst I accept its a mixed class (melee/castor) so can't be good at both, I can take a mage or priest on a good day with earth shock/earthen shield FTW. Saying that, mana _is_ an at 62 and I just got water shield..83 mana per globe, and only 3 globes? That's a joke when i have ~6000 mana..absolutely pointless
