I want to wear plate, heal myself and still throw a fireball around.
Quit your complaining, pallys are fine and already over powered. No you can not take EVERYTHING, you are not warriors, you are not priest, you are support, deal.
May 9th 2007 4:14PM Hate the idea, love the concept.
Seems to me that a new tomb should drop
Tomb of Cornucopias I
Food and water for a regant for a 5 man would be nice.
May 9th 2007 4:05PM To all the people who said the same crap line of get a life, get off your chair, blah, blah, blah...
Um what are you doing reading WoWinsider if you have this so called life??? Hypocrital much....
People have different reasons and different expectations of life, maybe not yours, but if it works for them, good for them. Social is Social, it is all a matter of perception.
May 9th 2007 3:47PM seems to me the who problem is Pallys don't like to be what they are meant to be, support. Your job is to off tank mobs, protect the clothies and throw other classes buffs. You are off healer and off tanks.
Yes I understand the desire of people to be in the lead with pallys, but all classes have limitations and all classes have places where they shine. I have seen pallys take on 4 or 5 elites by them selves of same level and survive, but holding that aggro of all those elites when a good mage/shadow priest/warlock are in the group and watch the wipes fly.
May 8th 2007 10:42AM I think that getting one set for your toon is just silly. If I know that my mage is going to need crit gear, I put on crit gear. If I need to respec my toon I do. With the gold flowing like water in outland, the respec costs are nothing now. Player really need to be more fluid in thier game play and stop bitching so much about every litte change.
May 7th 2007 2:20PM I have solo'ed most of the game with my Mage. I grouped up for DM and Stockades, then skipped the rest of the instances till my guild asked me help with Strath. I for the first time fell in love with group content and was torn between to lovers. I love to solo and love to do group content. So I guess I am in between both, I am a solo grouper, a casual hardcore player, the bi equivalant of MMORGS.
May 7th 2007 2:10PM I Spoink the Mighty, King of the Gnome Pimps do praise and worship this most holy of holidays!!!!
Fear the Gnomes, Worship the Gnomes, Hug a Gnome, we give candy!
May 7th 2007 1:03PM To all the people who said Blizzard is stupid, morons etc.. Are you crazy, the most successful MMORG in history is enough cred for them to do as they please. As for game companies go, Blizzard constantly puts out the best products and the best produced material I have ever seen. I have played other MMORGs and this is by far the best.
Take into consideration this, not everyone is a fan of the "fantasy" genre of WoW, my girlfriend, a staunch sci-fi fan does not like wow cause it is fantasy based. She has said however she would play a Starcraft based MMORG. Not everyone loves fantasy based games and the sci-fi based mmorgs are the suck. Blizzard would make a briliant move in creating a MMORG base off star craft and not have to expand thier work force much. The programming behind the game would be the same, Just different graphics. Look around the WoW, how many items, characters and mobs do you see that could with tiny twinks be zerg, protoss or terrains, hhmm...
Blizzard would capture expand and capture a new market with both products, like they already did with the RTS games.
May 7th 2007 12:29PM I enjoyed your article and found it interesting. I have both run a guild and been an officer and a couple guilds on bronzebeard (I hate mergers!). Though we don't run DKP (Cause I hates it) I find the punishment section useful. I look forward to more articles.
