The new Misery {WoW}

Sep 2nd 2008 10:18AM @seamus

Their comeuppance? Because you choose to level holy that means other people who played shadow did something wrong that they need to be punished for?

Skill Mastery: Penance {WoW}

Aug 27th 2008 10:45AM This just in, Blizzard thinks all priest trees are very solid.

Giant news from the PTR: A new build brings a new bug [UPDATED] {WoW}

Feb 23rd 2008 4:17AM This is a huge nerf to warlocks and a great one! They have more stam then a lot of warriors, put out a ton of damage and then when they do life tap they can heal right back up with drain life. So now they will need to stack a little bit of int instead of nothing but stam. Oh well, welcome to the world of every other caster. As far as pve goes how is it a nerf? You don't need a ton of stam for pve.

The change to icy veins is crap for pvp. If you are playing an ice mage you don't sit there and tank damage like a life draining warlock. If a rogue is hitting you you want them frozen in place so you can get away. If you let them get close enough to hit you, you are dead.

GM saves player from accidental Season 3 purchase {WoW}

Dec 13th 2007 2:09PM This isn't some new surprise. They have always fixed this type of mistake. They have been doing it since season one. Its just making news now?

Hunters no longer have FD Drink in 2.3: Bug fix or nerf? {WoW}

Nov 15th 2007 8:59AM Mosst huntards are prolly to stupid to know they can use fel mana pots and to use them before they actually run out of mana. I guess now they will have to work within the system every other class mana using class has too.

Priests are lacking in discipline {WoW}

Oct 16th 2007 3:52PM I think discipline should be designed for max buffs and staying power. It would be nice if you got other buffs you could place on your raid besides spirit and fort. Now that pallys are going to be dpsing, tanking, healing and buffing they should make it so priest can take on some of the traditional pally buff role. Yup, lets make it so everyone can do everything that way they can not complain that they didn’t know what they were signing up for.

Blizzard's forum policy against foreign languages {WoW}

Aug 28th 2007 4:32PM @41 - I could remind you that English may have been invented in England, but it was perfected by Americans. (just kidding)

@Fabio - I am sure there are plenty of people in every country that think their country is the end all and be all the entire world but I like how you are just sick of the Americans. Why is that?

Haste and the need for speed {WoW}

Aug 24th 2007 11:46AM @20 - See, I was missing something! I am not surprised I was had a miss understanding. Based on that I can see why I didn't get it. Most of my spells are timed with the global cooldown.

However that doesn't change the fact that I find increasing the speed of my mind flay is very useful as a shadow priest as it is one of our main ways of doing damage. In my rotation it is the spell I cast the most.

Haste and the need for speed {WoW}

Aug 24th 2007 11:02AM @9 Haste is not useless for shadow priest. Mind flay is a 3 sec channeled spell that is effected by haste. Pumping out 3 mind flays in the time it normally takes to channel 2 is over +1800 damage in my gear.

I have also heard a lot about this global cool down making haste useless for many spells. I have noted that the global cool down does not go into effect until the spell has been fully cast. This means if it takes 1.5 secs to cast VT and then 1.5 secs for the global cool down it is 3 secs before I can cast the next spell.

If I can cast VT in .5 secs and then there is a 1.5 sec global cooldown I can cast the next spell in 2 secs instead of 3. What am I missing here?

The biggest bargain in the AH {WoW}

Aug 14th 2007 2:06PM "Now that the 48-hour downtime has begun for "selected realms", which unfortunately includes my home turf of Magtheridon, I feel I can release this delicious orange of wisdom for future downtimes."

So he is basically admitting that he found a way to exploit the system and to avoid everyone rushing to do it he waited in good conscience before posting this article. However that did not stop him from ripping someone off who didn't know.

Of course he is not breaking any rules, that doesn't mean its moral. He still exploited the situation to his benefit. Of course I am not completely sure he is being honest when he says someone posted arcane dust for such a low amount. That might just be fluff for his article.
