I was referring to people who whinged about having to wait A WHOLE DAY to proceed to the next part of the chain.
And even those who "worked diligently" (like me) don't have much to complain about as it is A WHOLE DAY™. We aren't talking about weeks/months of work being thrown out.
This is no different to nerfing raid content and the like. It isn't a big deal. The reward for being first is in being first.
Jul 7th 2011 8:11AM Because Blizzard would have to write a bit of code to go through the database and find everyone who had done that quest and give them extra marks. Instead what they did was just change the quest rewards.
Anyway the point of the change isn't to handout some marks, it is to make it so people don't have to wait an extra day before going to Malfurion's Breach.
Jul 7th 2011 8:07AM I think it stopped you going stealth but didn't break it IIRC. New fix might be for when you land faerie fire as they stealth AND to stop vanish etc.

Jul 6th 2011 1:19AM P.S. I also don't care if people never raid for loot. I raid because killing new bosses is a fun group activity. Hitting up farm content is boring and with the new raidID extension I would never have to do it except for people who want to raid for loot.

You misunderstood me. I don't even have my gear reforged for tanking. I wear leather reforged to maximise cat DPS and I have a dual bear/cat spec. And yet I have tanked nearly everything on T11 normal.
"Best-in-slot" is a vastly overstated idea for tanks/healers outside of Heroic raids.
Honestly it would be trivial to move the other tanks towards the feral bear model.

Jul 5th 2011 8:49PM I would have no problem with it as I don't have a single piece of gear with dodge/parry on it and have tanked nearly every T11 encounter (feral druids ftw!).
TBH Blizz could easily fix this issue by not dropping +spirit cloth and just making reforging give more +spirit in the conversion to make up for it.

Jul 3rd 2011 4:49AM Um, trash farming is not restricted to "high end guilds".
"High end guilds" are only interested in boss kills. Guess what happens to most trash when you kill bosses? It stops spawning. As pretty much every "high end guild" did a full normal mode clear this week there isn't any trash for them to farm.
IME the people who farm trash are not regular raiders, so they farm trash for rep gains and trash epics/patterns to advance their characters.
