Jun 2nd 2008 5:18PM Passing judgement before the entire story is known, eh? If it's proven that the two did not get intimate, and the girl ran away willingly (with horror stories of, say, and abusive family), the Kidnapping charges are likely not to stick. He's not been charged with anything else at this time.
Articles and editorials that assume their own justice such as this make me sick. You have absolutely NO right to condemn a man or woman until the real justice system does its job.
Innocent until proven guilty. Period.
May 23rd 2008 7:54PM Oh, and hello:
May 23rd 2008 7:50PM I wouldn't be so quick to write off the skills of the artists. While I agree the works look like direct screenshot-to-canvas compositions and mostly uninspired (they possibly leave it up to the person who orders the painting to compose how they want it to look), the skills of the artists in question are certainly NOT poor.
You can see this by examining the rest of the site. Some of their book covers are instantly recognizable if you're an avid reader. :) And the quality of that work is top notch.
Commissioned work is, by rule of thumb, generally of less detail due to time constraints for most artists. This not only allows the artists to cater to more people, but it also allows for an affordable product provided to the consumer.
May 18th 2008 2:56PM It's painfully obvious that all of the footage within comes from Blizzard designed trailers. If you're worried about insulting the "creators" with such a statement in your article...don't be. :)
May 14th 2008 4:40PM This. ^
The expansion will be released when it's good and ready, by BLIZZARD's standards, not by the investor's or parent company Vivindi's desires.
One thing those "higher ups" need to focus on is if the expansion is released in a terrible state due to being rushed (an easy thing to do with any MMO, as it's been proven), they stand to lose far more customers to their main competition...namely Age of Conan and/or Warhammer Online...then they would if they chose to release the XP after the debut of both those games.
Here's to hoping Blizzard has a full controlling interest in their game after the large changes made with the company over the past year.
May 6th 2008 2:00PM Loved it. I didn't spend too much time searching, but the lack of a high quality version detracts from the end quality. I bet the vid looks amazing in high def.
May 2nd 2008 7:30PM Speed was made thus to make sure that Hunters completely ignore this weapon. Period. ;)
May 2nd 2008 6:45PM Still the best BM hunter weapon, especially those (who should be) using the "3:2" Steady:Auto rotation while maintaining 4 peices of Gronnstalker gear. It was likely originally found to be TOO powerful by the developers keeping a close eye on the current hunter class trends.
Survival hunters have a great choice between the Golden Bow and the Thori'dal, depending on the spec and gearing they're sporting at the time.
Latest trends on Legendary weapons seems to be one of making sure it's not overly powerful compared to the best of the best epic items available...take a look at the Warglaive nerfs for instance.
Apr 28th 2008 7:24PM "First of all, there's no reason you should be raiding with a system like that anyway -- even a cheap PC will run World of Warcraft better than that, and even if you can't afford a new computer, odds are that you can at least add some RAM in there and speed things up a bit."
2 Gigs of Ram, final generation G5 iMac with overclocked Radeon 9600. SSC 12-15 FPS, TK 10-13 FPS. I play a hunter, originally Beastmastery....regularly maintained 1200 DPS, spiked at 1600+ on encounters which allowed it, such as Morogrim, Karathress, Solarian, and the like.
Now Survival, doing just fine manually weaving shots in. I certainly couldn't do it at 3 FPS, but I guarantee a simple BM spec could be played well at that framerate.
