Jul 7th 2007 10:00AM Best murloc ever: Ben Stiller. He already has the pouchy lips, and if they staple his ears back under a skull cap he won't even need a lot of makeup.

"16. Rouge and Mascara... by far the worst."
Jul 5th 2007 9:45AM I feel for the player whose daughter pulled Razorgore. While it has yet to happen in an instance or raid, my habit of letting my 2 year old daughter sit on my lap and watch me play "monkeys" (Don't ask, she has this thing about monkeys, and apparently my Tauren warrior looks like one) has gotten me into quite a few tight spots. The Yeti cave in Hillsbrad was probably the best. She took advantage of my momentary distraction to hit the arrow keys and drop me off the ledge into the waiting arms of my new furry friends... guess what happened next... yep, corpse run time.

Jun 28th 2007 5:04PM What I find interesting is the amount of coverage this transaction is getting in the WoW community. Unfortunately, most of it is negative, but as the saying goes, there is no bad publicity.
What it boils down to is that the WowHead guys built a fantastic site on their own time, and managed to make a tidy profit from doing something they enjoyed. As long as the content stays at or above the level it is now, and the server speed stays consistent (in other words, WH doesn't turn into turtlebot), I don't really care what the ads say. Quite honestly, I never look at them anyway, and most of the people I've talked to ignore them as well.
As I've posted before, if I see talk of a design overhaul and the site loses the quality it has now, I'll be the first to jump ship. Until then, I'll keep using it when I need the extra info.
Jun 23rd 2007 11:50AM Personally, I'll keep using wowhead right up until I see an announcement of "new website design coming soon". At that point, the mental giants in charge of thottbot and Al will probably screw up wowhead and make it take forever to load, as well.
Jun 19th 2007 9:18PM "I understand that making such a mistake can be distressing and I wish you the best with re-leveling it up to 375."
Quite possibly the best complaint/response thread I've ever read.
Jun 11th 2007 4:12PM Ok, Jimmy, here's your stick and blindfold. I told you we'd get you a pinata for your birthday.
Jun 9th 2007 8:15PM There is a certain range you have to be inside of in order to gain experience from a kill. There is also a certain range you have to be in range of in order to get faction points from a kill if the mob you are killing is one that gives those points. (Example: in Felwood, you can get reputation with Timbermaw Hold by killing Deadwood mobs.) However, these ranges don't match up. The reputation range is just a bit larger than the experience range, which means that you can stand just outside the range of xp and still get rep points.
Jun 3rd 2007 3:18PM Actually, the closest I've come in an MMORPG to the description the article gives is a game called "Shadowbane". In SB, your corpse can be looted by hostile players and anything in your bags will be taken. The long grinding hours are also accurate, as there are no quests to gain experience.
Just 2 of many reasons I no longer play Shadowbane.
