Not so much for the Horde {WoW}

Jul 17th 2008 4:13PM Way to be a pedantic, condescending asshole.

As much as I enjoy being tacitly out-nerded with unconstructive comments by people who find my arguments laughable, yet offer no actual rebuttals to anything I write, I think I'll just let this one go.

You have bested me, oh lord of WoW lore, I am at your feet.

Not so much for the Horde {WoW}

Jul 17th 2008 1:57PM Oh, I don't know. Maybe trying to lynch an old orc hermit who was trying to live anonymously in peace. How about abusing magic and attracting the attention of people and things they ought not to have? That Medivh guy, the one who opened the Dark Portal which started all this nonsense, was human, if I remember correctly. Those crazy Scarlet Crusade assholes who kill pretty much anything and anyone that doesn't belong to their club aren't very nice. There have been a lot of douchebaggy humans who, if we allow it, give the humans a pretty bad name. Kind of like the Horde...

Not so much for the Horde {WoW}

Jul 15th 2008 5:02PM Personally, I always enjoyed the quests where you kinda maybe help the other side out a bit because it's in the best interest of both sides that you do so. I've always been fascinated by characters like Tirion Fodring who aren't obvious, jingoistic morons.

Jul 15th 2008 4:57PM This article is rather moot when one considers some of the terrible shit the humans are supposed to have done.

Forum post of the day: Table plz {WoW}

Jul 10th 2008 7:43PM As a warlock, I can sympathize. There's nothing more annoying than being out in the middle of nowhere, dealing with multiple mobs, and having some moron whisper "sumin me! i pay 1g," and then proceeding to spam it if you don't reply within two seconds. As annoying and rude as "table" or "table now!" are, they are no more annoying than "halthstonz!11!" or "lock do well now!" At the risk of sounding insensitive, it kinda goes with the territory. In BGs, I get around this by immediately dropping a soulwell as soon as I zone in. That way, the morons have nothing to complain about, and everyone is happy.

Forum post of the day: Table plz {WoW}

Jul 10th 2008 6:44PM As a warlock, I think all you mages are right. From now on I'll only drop a soulwell if everyone kisses my feet and treats me like royalty.

The inevitable loss {WoW}

Jul 10th 2008 3:58PM As a noob resto druid in terrible gear, I experienced this for the first time last night in EoTS. I was left alone at FR and nobody responded to my incoming call. The worst part about it was the insults and the whining which ensued after we lost the node. Reminding them that I was a terribly geared resto druid left alone to defend against an incoming of 3 dps and a healer garnered no sympathy. Suffice it to say, there were more than a couple douchebags who got no heals from me for the rest of that match.

"We're going to need a montage." {WoW}

Jul 1st 2008 7:50PM Sadly, this is true. My druid dinged 70 just last weekend. I spec'd resto last night when I got home from work. I have terrible gear and no idea what I'm doing. With my MS warrior friend, we improved our 2s rating by something like 40 points beyond what our ok geared priest/lock could do.

Ask a Lore Nerd: Faith and religion {WoW}

Jul 1st 2008 7:35PM The speculation section at Wowwiki of the titan Eonar the Lifebinder includes her as a possible candidate for the Tauren Earth-Mother. And while there's no real evidence to support it, I always liked that theory. It links the Tauren and Dwarves in a pretty cool way, kind of like ancient cousins or something.

Officers' Quarters: Empty slots {WoW}

Jul 1st 2008 4:55PM Bread isn't breakable? Interesting. I wonder where the phrase "breaking bread" came from then.
