Nov 2nd 2011 7:42PM I wonder if I can level a monk to 90 by just gathering, resting and cooking and eating?
Jun 28th 2011 8:54AM Thanks Matt again for a great post. I've also played a warrior since vanilla and have done the whole spectrum of tanking to dps. I find DPS to be much more relaxing for me as I just burn out on group control. (yes, I would rather just burn stuff down.)
Ok -- My response is pretty simple -- It's really kinda sad that Warrior players adapt, get better, start to perform through a lot of effort and we get nerfed.
While my warrior my put out 20k on a dungeon with SMF and no t11 or better, like others will agree, we became masters of our crafts to do well. Is it really Blizzard nerfing warriors because of solid game play? Sorry -- the concept of "you play the game to well so we have to nerf the crud out of you" is really troubling me.
I see other warriors with like gear not putting out the same or similar dps and I must say - I am no Landsoul or Swifty or will I ever be -- but I try my best, and try to adapt.
Swifty said it once, why not re-roll to a retfailadin or a beloved DK? I don't know...because I love my warrior and everything about it.
I will stick in here and keep working on my war and yes - 20k is low compared to most of you...I just want to keep learning.
Jan 8th 2011 8:23PM Lol. So explain why a 20 percent nerf after a 17 percent nerf after a dual wield 10 percent per weapon nerf is acceptable on any class. Might I add a need to carry some 27 (2850) percent hit and have minimal str compared to and other str class dps? Rofl failcrawler. You suck douchebag. Go kiss some dk or hailstone ass.
Nov 30th 2010 9:43AM Ok,
All being said, I really do like the new content, but I run out of quests in certain areas or just out level them faster (Stonetalon -- Linked quests seem to get broken if you can't find one small detail. We've seen this in IceCrown before.) However, the game seems to be no longer about our 80s (Nerf Nerf Nerf Nerf) and more about re-rolling (Less of Blizzard rebalancing truth, and forcing frustration into re-roll.) Finding my way around becomes tedious at times through the broken world (so it's a learning experience and a lot of in game time to figure out.) The quests and outleveling is really the small issue. I'm honestly having a hard time wanting to play my 80s that I raided my tail off with.
Please note -- yes..I'm going to take a slap for this, but I play a dps warrior and that in itself just got destroyed.
The portal challenge -- I hate this. We need to have portals without being Mage dependent. To think that we all have a raid and wait for Schmuckola priest to run all accross Azeroth and everywhere else to just get there because he / she / it is late, to waste time getting there is just silly (Might be nice to force unlock these with a quest). (Yes -- Warlocks Summons, Yes -- Mages can waste time porting to and back.) But the fluidity of the game has changed to run around and honestly just re-level.
It's a new game -- I just don't like to hate my high level toons which I feel like I do now.
Oct 16th 2010 8:25AM Ok..
"Fail"Crawler wins -- I quit.
Rossi -- I love your posts -- but you waited weeks to put in anything about reactions to "Fail"Crawlers decision to screw warriors with to early to tell. I played on the PTR and was in hell watching fellow warriors and myself struggle to break 5 k and stack hit rating up to the teeth because we have no benefit from rage generation by Crit. I saw article after article from you discussing Tanking on a Warrior or leveling a new toon or even arms. Nothing about the majority of what most of us play end game. Fury hit the nerf bat from hell.
Equalization ? Balancing ? Watching DK's lose no damage while we get nerfed like this. My account is now off. The game is over for me.
Why screw the most straight forward, hard working, no magic using, class in the fricken game? Oh -- I know -- The lead designer doesn't play warriors so he has no fuckin clue.
Oct 16th 2010 8:16AM Honestly -- with the nerfs -- I'm tempted to leave. Why kill warriors completely? Oh yes, because Blizzard has a lead designer "Fail"Crawler that cares nothing for warriors.
Jul 21st 2009 9:48AM Wow,
I'm really sad about the tier 9 garbage. If this is what blizzard thinks is cool graphics they are 1 of 2. 1) Sadly mistaken, 2) Really fricken lazy.
Looking at other sets that are amazing, (hmmm...7.5, 5 or even t4) I'm just blown away what the hell they are thinking. But then again, Blizzard has our money and really has to do nothing but play with the numbers because of "Class representation."
What the f ever. I'm looking for a better game anyways.
Aug 13th 2008 12:33AM Ok,
This was absolutely a nightmare for me and loved ones trying to get tickets and all of the readers here, I'm sure. I spent most of the last 2 days trying to get fricken tickets with a site that went up and down more than a porn-star. This actually makes me want to quit playing WoW all-together since the lack of thought process put to players of the game. Especially when we see scalpers sucking up the tickets. What will I have to pay for the tickets now? 400-500 per person?
Screw that noise.
Blizzard, you suck...
Aug 12th 2008 10:49AM Wow,
If this lack of planning on Blizzards part is the way Blizzcon is gonna be, then I'm really wondering if it's worth it to even go. I'm very surprised they didn't just use ticket master and save the trouble. Ticketmaster can handle the volume at least.
May 20th 2008 6:56PM Wish I could just start a DK at level 1 and say screw the 55.
