Jul 20th 2007 11:45AM As spinninnzen pointed out, why have stuff drop that can only be used by someone that isn't in the group?? Surely it wouldn't be that hard for the mighty Blizzard to snapshot the 5 members of the starting party, and if there's a drood tanking and nobody in the group wears plate, plate items should be moved off the loot table drop. Same with cloth/leather/mail wearers... if someone in the group can't wear it, it shouldn't be allowed to drop - period. Even doing just that and not affecting the weapon/trinket drops, would make a tremendous improvement.
While more exp/kill or quest would be nice, I just don't think it's feasible as a few others stated. I have 6 characters in the Outlands now, 2 at 70, with 3 more I hope to get at least started in the Outlands before the next expansion... all while having a normal job, wife and daughter (i chose to give up sleep to play). I'm completely sick and tired of how long it takes to get from point A to point B. If they lowered the level riding mount level, or maybe added a mount that was 50% speed at level 25, 75% at 40, 100% at 55, it would make these old quests that are absurdly spaced out across continents not quite so bad. Doing that while adding a little bit of new content here and there in the mid-levels would keep them from needing to modify the amount of exp given. Just giving more exp is like putting a band-aid on a broken leg. They need to add content and tune it so there's a reason to be there - not fly past it as quick as possible.
Item quality of drops/rewards need tuning as well. Change some BoP items to BoE and lower their level req. by at least 5.
Heroic mode of old Azeroth instances are a nice dream... but still just a dream. I don't see Blizzard ever stepping up to make that happen unfortunately.

Maybe you should think about looking for a new guild. End game is all about upgrades - and most of them are minor. You have to squeeze out every +mp/hp/agi/str/etc that you can. You get small upgrades on 10 people, and that can add up to a big difference on a boss.

I'm at work atm so I can't confirm, but pre TBC this worked. Aff/DS 'lock before TBC and currently 40/21/0 - I only run w/ a DS buff and I can't remember the last time I summoned an infernal - only that I haven't since TBC was released. I know it doesn't remove my DS buff when I enslave a demon, so its possible it won't do it when you summon the infernal as it summons enslaved and isn't permanent. I do know for a fact that summoning the normal imp/suc/fel demons will remove the DS buff.

My thoughts exactly.
I do hope Blizz can do something about it, but for the most part I just ignore the gold whispers. As Mainman stated, ignoring that player is useless because the char will be offline or deleted in a matter of minutes anyway. Sometimes I might get 2 or 3 tells within 5 minutes of each other, but then it may be over an hour before I see another one, so ignoring it works for now, but I don't want it to get any further out of hand.
