Sep 25th 2008 1:38AM Varimathras' very existence now depends on where you are in the big bad questchain. It's probably waiting to be sorted out in the code.
Feb 13th 2008 3:49AM I'm sorry but I can't agree with this spec. If you have Feral Charge and Natural Perfection, then you are going for PvP. These abilities just dont pay off in PvE. And if you PvP, then Control of Nature is way more important than Feral Charge. And the rest of the feral abilities are decent, but I'd rather have resto abilities.
Make your choice between Feral Charge or Kickass Healing Touch, but please don't give up Control of Nature!
Jan 25th 2008 2:50PM I think they should just do one more expansion and call it quits. Combine the Emerald Dream and the Great Sea, connect Azshara to both, and make the central plotline the summoning of Sargeras by Azshara, maybe via the Emerald Dream and Malfurion. Add Furbolgs and Naga as Alliance/Horde races, maybe use Sargeras to justify giving us Demon Hunters (finally), and end this game on top before they get utterly whomped by Warhammer and Conan.
Jan 5th 2008 5:30AM I think it's funny that the reaction here is so positive, when on the forums (where the posters to the Raiding section seem to only be serious Hyjal-level raiders), there is a visceral reaction. I wonder if Blizz is getting the wrong impression from the forums about what people want.
Jan 5th 2008 4:30AM There is a lot of trite crap at this site, this article being an example. I still give it a chance, but sometimes I wonder why.
Nov 12th 2007 1:37PM that "excellent voice acting" is from warcraft 3, before you fight archimonde.
Sep 26th 2007 5:04AM I don't think resilience is as important as you suggest. I have a feral druid and I can do a good job staying alive. Bears are hard for anyone to kill. But I cannot burst damage like other classes can. That's fine, it means I'm better at staying alive, and it helps in 3v3 because I'm more likely to get ignored. When they don't ignore me, they're usually wasting valuable time and taking a big risk. But if I'm the primary dps in a 2v2, with a healer, then it is always a very long match, and it often doesn't end well.
Sep 6th 2007 1:12PM The PvE vs PvP comparison is not accurate. Tempest Keep does not get harder over time. If they reward the most skilled players with the best items, then it becomes harder over time to match up to them. It will create a huge gap in arena.
Right now, Arena is fun for a lot of players, partly because they get some very nice stuff. Who cares if casual people are getting equipment? True comparisons would put everyone in the same equipment anyway. Add more non-intrusive prizes like the titles or Armored Netherdrakes.
Sep 4th 2007 5:14PM I did a solo Ramparts a while back, the hardest for me was a solo Baron run though.
