Cataclysm beta guild contest winners contacted {WoW}

Aug 3rd 2010 4:26AM I suppose, seeing as how we didn't win, there's no harm in posting our obviously fail entry here (Senseless Violence - H - Velen):

We are a sword. Forged in the twisted halls of The Last Guardian’s Tower, tempered in the dark catacombs of Naxxramas, and thrust triumphantly into the heart of darkness at the top of the world, we are a sword of honor and vengeance, cutting down the horrors of old gods and new demons. Our edge never dulls, our strike never falters.

We are a shield. Shaped by battle in the forests of the Amani, emboldened within the fires of the Obsidian Sanctum, and heralding victory over the Alliance in the colosseum, we are a shield of courage and cunning, quelling the nightmares of dreadlords and death incarnate. Our guard never slips, our hold never wanes.

We are the armaments against which the cataclysmic crumble. The tide of chaos cannot be stemmed with an offense of order, but rather with opposing chaos. This world needs Senseless Violence!

Jun 29th 2010 1:32AM You both misunderstand the question, I understand the Forsaken's loyalty to Sylvanas, I just wonder what would happen if a Forsaken decided that he would rather be back with his family in Stormwind than continue to serve the Banshee Queen.

They are rightly branded traitors in that particular quest, and as a loyal servant of the Warchief, I gladly killed them each time I played through Hillsbrad, including on my Forsaken Rogue, as I would have any traitor to the Horde.

What I am interested in is the Alliance (read King Wrynn) reaction to a defector from the Forsaken to the Alliance, would they be welcomed back with "open" arms as the Ebon Blade has been?

Jun 28th 2010 9:25PM On the Forsaken Vs DK question:
Why would the alliance accept the Death Knights back into their ranks, but not any Forsaken that expressed the same desire? Seems a bit hypocritical to me......

Jun 24th 2010 2:00PM Why are people so upset about path of the titans not making it into the game? It's already in the game! Poor loreless Jotun walks up and down it all day!
