Jan 23rd 2009 12:14PM Yeah, the music/dialogue is from Jarhead, the voice of Jake Gyllenhaal.
A lot of the scenes in the machinima are direct copies/translations of scenes from the movie, like the hydration/dehydration sequence (lol).
Jan 12th 2009 11:09PM Only a few people will ever understand what happened here.
Jan 12th 2009 8:08PM Yeah, and when you spec deep enough into the Beast Master tree, just give me Bestial Wrath, and The Beast Within too, I don't want to have to spend those points I want two more.
Oh yeah and for my druid, just give me tree form if I go deep enough in the resto druid.
Clearly there are talents that define trees, and there are talents that are better than others. This is OK. The end.
Dec 21st 2008 6:19PM The description of a spellbreaker class matches Shamans exactly.
Dec 2nd 2008 8:19AM I am a completionist/perfectionist and I must complete every quest in every zone. It is pathological. Two zones down.
There is a system of quests per area that Blizzard uses and then you can move on. There are also areas in the middle of nowhere that contract for work, those are the hard ones to not miss.
Nov 20th 2008 1:41PM When considering haste on your new items:
WoWwiki says 32.79 haste gives 1% haste.
For a hunter with the BM talent Serpent's Swiftness:
15% haste from quiver
20% haste from Serpent's Swiftness
Steady Shot cast time is 2 seconds.
(2 seconds / 1.15 ) / 1.2 = 1.4492
That is below 1.5 seconds, any more haste is only helping out white damage from auto-shots.
For a hunter without Serpent's Swiftness:
15% haste from quiver
2 seconds / 1.15 = 1.7391 (new cast time)
1.7391 / 1.5 (Ideal cast time) = 1.1594
So the haste required to get to the ideal cast time is:
Since it takes 32.79 haste rating to get 1% haste...
It will take 522.7391 haste rating to get to the ideal cast time.
Round that up to 523 because I'm unsure how WoW rounds.
Conclusions about haste:
If you have Serpent's Swiftness, don't get any haste.
If you do not have Serpent's Swiftness, take it wherever you get it as one of your best stats, because I doubt you'll get to 523.
Nov 20th 2008 1:18PM The Worgen Claw Necklace is better than all of the new options you presented...
Sep 25th 2008 4:48PM "Should the healer, who already spends more on the run than anyone aside from the tank, has a more stressful job than any DPS, and makes sacrifices for people they do not even know, be forced to make all the corpse runs?"
... what? I play a healer and I don't:
1. spend anything on runs unless I die (besides reagent costs, but I also play a hunter and don't even get started on their gold/stack arrows)
2. stress out
3. sacrifice my soul for people
what do you sacrifice for people that they don't even know about?
from a utilitarian point of view, it is more efficient for one person to run back while others are being more productive (eating, chatting, playing another game). more gets done that way
Jun 19th 2008 11:50AM Long time coming.
"How does one go about appealing with Blizzard in hopes that they didn't realize how much this would affect Rogues < 70?"
Blizzard does realize how this affects rogues.
You just got intentionally nerfed. Thank god.
Why do you need a power to save you from death every 1 minute... do like every other class does and watch your health and be careful. You still have a billion other moves, deal. I hope this is never reversed and if it doesn't help enough, nerf you again.
