Dec 17th 2008 4:17PM Ah, what Uchi said.
Dec 17th 2008 4:15PM I just finished crafting my flying carpet and when swooping down upon a mob to crush for a quest, I was put off for the pause, hop off the carpet animation before i could do anything.
Sounds like switching these back to regular mounts will fix this. Until then, i'm back to my boring bird.
Apr 17th 2008 3:56PM Angus, you've got a point on this spec. It works well for groups running Kara or starting SSC, Gruuls where the tank isn't generating a ton of threat.
I recently respecced to this 0/40/21 from the 0/21/40 as I was standing around waiting for more threat to be generated. With the Imp negating 20% threat, it essentially means you can generate 20% more damage. I was speccing around the +fire dmg on destro anyway due to the crafted Shadowweave set.
For folks like Patrick with 1300 unbuffed, the tank in his guild is probably doing plenty of threat so this may not be an issue for him.
For us non-l33t semi-casual raiding locks, this is a viable spec.
Sep 6th 2007 8:41AM I'm going to make the prediction that this game is going to be online for a lot longer than anyone expects. The game may have ended for YOU, but there will still be enough folks still playing even without new content for Blizzard to keep some realms up indefinitely.
You don't go from 9 million subscribers to 0 in 3 years. Even if it's just a million in 5 or more years, it's still profitable. I could see coming back many years from now and rerolling a character just for kicks. They'd probably have reduced the subscription fee by that time as well.
Aug 28th 2007 11:51AM Some classes are definitely more nuanced than others and don't really get easier until lvl 40+ due to talents, etc.
On the harder side I'd say - mages (said to be an experimental class by Blizzard), shadow priest, pally, druid.
On the easier side - hunter, lock, rogue, warrior.
From all the posts, though, it's clear everyone has their own play style and thus different classes are good for different people!
Aug 24th 2007 2:22PM It would be way more convenient and contribute more to the Wow economy to be able to create enchant scrolls to sell on the AH. Unless there is a high level enchant I want on a twink or high level alt, i just put on an armor kit.
Jul 27th 2007 2:58PM New lvl 20-60 content would make starting new alts much more enjoyable. While we've gotten more efficient at getting new chars up to 70, having the new quest types seen in the expansion for this range would make rerolling an option again for many.
Jul 24th 2007 6:12PM Don't forget to bring a towel!
