Jan 6th 2010 2:16PM It could be argued your food/mana you are requesting comes from learning cooking. Your summoning ritual has a 'lesser version' too called a summoning stone. Stealth in its lesser version would be the potion or elixir of invisibility (memory fades on which it actually is) which leaves your request for the portal...
Fair enough request. But as a 'lesser version' we regret to inform you it won't port you to the city but rather the starter town nearest the city... y'know, with it being lesser and all that... ;)

Sep 1st 2009 11:09AM I'm curious who won the sound-a-like contest. They cut the broadcast off before it was finished and I've not been able to find it online. Maybe I missed it in the plethora of information that came out of the event but I'd love to know who - or rather what - was the winning impression. Any help?
Aug 11th 2009 9:24AM While I am in 2 minds about the announcement regarding races I'd have preferred something like an Ethereal being the next choice. With the news recently that you can actually change faction for a fee, this could have been a strong possibility.
The starting zone would mean zero communication with either faction, a series of quests in a special starter zone like the DK and then a choice... which side do you pick? Which portal do you step through? That, I think, would have been freaking awesome. Also the actual classes would work better with that class than goblins and worgen. I just don't really see many of the classes being a fit for either of these races, yet with the Ethereal we have seen them as rogues, warriors, priests, mages. Naturally, with all the bandage-gear they wear when you roll them you'd be 455 First Aid too ;)
Apr 23rd 2009 3:10PM Actually they did about four-ish weeks ago. A mage in our guild had the summoning item because, at a certain point in the druid quest chain, you could share it with a party and they could accept - druid or not! I don't recall which stage but he was ticked off by a GM.

Actually I have known the realms (even since the release of Wrath) to come up earlier than the given time as I recall a guildy cussing that he missed 1.5 hours of play time because he scheduled other things to do. I lol'd.
Really, it is not that bad. Any MMO will face the same issues and, frankly, compared to other MMOs, WoW does not have half the uptime problems other have. But hey, please go play another game because we do need less whiners in the game. Kthx :)
Oh and regarding the 'paying them money to play' you really need to read those ToS and the fine print that they, and every other MMO, have :)
Apr 21st 2009 12:09PM I just use delicious.com to bookmark my specs from online talent calcs. This is particularly useful when you want to change specs (prior to dualspecs reducing that need) or if your 2nd spec is occasionally swapped between a couple of variations.
Apr 6th 2009 3:52PM I'm a little confused... sure sure, call me a nub, but I don't understand something and figured this would be the best place for an answer. Why do ppl say "Heals can't crit" because I thought they can. Am I missing something?
