Apr 20th 2007 1:48PM Tell him to come to Haomarush (Low Pop btw) and hang around Auchindoun or Area 52, I will be pleased to introduce this nub to air ganking. Spirit Rez FTW! Best Combo for air ganking is a POM/Pyro Mage x 2 or POM/Mage and a Shadow Priest. I love it because the allies tend to start flying up when they get hit, lol, and end up dying so far up that the have no choice but to spirit rez. I've only been really mean a couple times and camped the GY waiting for them to rez just to gank them again with rez sickness, ya im an a-hole...i've gotta lot of bad karma built up :p
Apr 12th 2007 2:24PM Omg I'm so stoked right now! All these changes kinda renew my interest in the Game and a little faith in Blizz, mostly cause of the Robe thing :D
Apr 10th 2007 1:15PM @12
Are u on Haomarush? I've seen a guild with that name running around, it was hilarious the first time I saw it.
Apr 9th 2007 6:09PM Please, Please, Please! Give me a Robe for my epic tailoring pieces and not a tunic! And let me unlearn my tailoring specialization!
Apr 6th 2007 2:59PM I'm in a casual raiding guild, the GM has the final word , but officers (me+others) have a hand in making decisions. So far it has worked well, we have no drama, and it's more about having fun and making friends rather than downing "X" boss tonight no matter what it takes. We don't require people to respec, if you want to it's up to you, you can bring pots in raids if you want, if not someone always has extras.
Over all I think the GM+Officers works better over the democracy thing because to tell you the truth most people need leadership. Yes, to some leadership skills and abilities come naturally or more easily, but people need to be led rather than just give opinions and going with what "sounds" the best. Another thing that I think makes things run smoother is the fact that we really don't get people that are under 21, so people are more mature, and willing to take constructive criticism in a non-personal way.
I love the guild that i'm in and wouldn't change a thing! ^_^ The really funny thing is that the server, Haomarush, is east coast, but most of the guild members just happen to be in Cali which is nice, i'm trying to organize a raid on Las Vegas :p I dunno we'll see what happens. Apr 3rd 2007 7:52PM I've been back on wow for about 5 months now after a 6 month hiatus, saving money has been great ever since i started playing again. I saved up enough to even build a new machine to further fuel my addiction.
But recently this has changed as I'm dating again now that I have mage and priest to 70, btw the timing on the 70 thing is coincidental, and geez, I mean i'm not broke, but I do have watch my spending more closly now. Going out I spend easily anywhere from $60-$120 depending on the activity.
Sometimes I'm tempted to just call my date an tell her something came up, just so I can play wow 0.o but I fight off temptation and im usually glad I didn't just stay home and play WoW.
Still, I think WoW gives you the most bang for your buck of any form of entertainment, even TV, cause cable ain't cheap! but then again Girls are nice to play with too ;)
The more you play, the more you save! ^_^
Apr 2nd 2007 11:18AM Grouped up with 3 Shadow Priest and Druid tank for Shadow Labs, we cleared up to the second boss without a wipe. Our 5th was a lock that was helping out some guidlies. Instance was cake, we ran it a second time with the same group and it took an hour 10 min to finish. I wish all SL runs went that smooth.
Mar 27th 2007 11:55AM No, we don't need any more new realms. We need to fill up the low-pop servers first! I've been on Haomarush since it started over a year ago and I have not seen much growth. It's good on one hand because of the non-existant queue times, and not so good as the economy sux, world pvp is less than stellar, and LFG is a joke. Please reroll/xfer to Haomarush! :D
If you're a 70'ish Horde looking for a casual raiding guild feel free to drop me a line.
Mar 19th 2007 12:42PM A little late :p but here's a quote from some very wise person on the forums.
"It's important to remember at all times that anyone who's done more than you has no life. Also, anyone who's done less than you is a noob."
Mar 14th 2007 5:13PM LMAO! That was awesome! I love my mage even more now, I still hate gnomes for the record :p
