Furor buffed for 3.0.2 {WoW}

Aug 29th 2008 3:59PM If yesterday's article on Furor was correct, you will continue your energy regen ticks while in other forms. The old Furor dropped your energy back to 40 when you want cat. The new Furor will allow you to keep all of it (100) [not 100%.]

Undocumented changes in 2.4.2 {WoW}

Apr 23rd 2008 12:58PM Well for paladins, it doesn't really matter past level 62... Crusader aura is made of win.

Patch 2.3: some PvP cloaks please, with a Hunter melee weapon on the side {WoW}

Sep 30th 2007 4:21PM I question any item designed "specifically for hunters" that lacks any +agility. Didn't they learn their lesson when Hunter T4 pieces had no Agi? Boo/hiss for this new weapon.

Bigger backpacks (and more) coming soon {WoW}

Sep 12th 2007 6:57PM There is also Blizzard precedent for having multiple gear sets - in Diablo II (expansion, I think) you could equip two sets of weapons and swap them on the fly. Now if they would only allow us 3 entire gear sets to swap between it would go a long ways towards clearing up my paladin's bags/bank.

Why aren't solo instances coming to WoW? {WoW}

Aug 23rd 2007 5:01PM I agree that this would never happen, it would be a total waste of developer resources. That said, wouldn't it be awesome if...

Each class had their own solo instance, with encounters specifically designed to test that player's skill at their class. Think of something like the Rhok'delar (Hunter) quest - you had to fight four demons, each with a weakness to certain of your abilities. Each fight was tough, but doable.

Maybe other parts of these 1-player instances could be more "puzzle" oriented, like a dungeon in the Zelda games or something. BC showed a lot more originality in quest/content design, and this would be a sort of next step.

One thing WoW lacks is really difficult single-player content. I know WoW is a social game, but still - doing this kind of solo stuff would make you a better player as a group.
