Aug 22nd 2008 8:01PM So, what you (and many others) are saying is that if you can't care for ALL the kids, don't care about ANY??
That's just plain stupid... and rather sad.
Ezra has got our attention because he plays WoW.
We play WoW.
There's a link. There's a reason to care.
If you don't care, have the decency to shut up.
Aug 22nd 2008 12:25PM Shame on all those with the negative comments.
One word for you; karma.
Look it up you pathetic saps.
As for the poor kid, I wish him & his family all the best.
Obviously I don't know him, but that doesn't stop me empathizing with a fellow WoW-player and human being...
Aug 21st 2008 9:29AM Awesome.
Although it's short, this trailer sets the scene nicely. It just leaves you wanting more, which is probably the idea.
Aug 19th 2008 3:50AM Ok. Great video. Terrible pronunciation.
All of these new "Wrath Beta Hunter-Guide Movies" are superb; thank you BRK.
As for Americans mis-pronouncing EVERYTHING, don't even get me started... ;)
Jul 3rd 2008 4:44AM I have a 29 Hunter twink and it can be really great fun to have a quick blast on WSG or AB if you're feeling a bit fed up. Yes, you'd get bored if you spent hours and hours on a session, which is why I only play on my twink for an hour or so just once or twice a week. It's a brilliant way to unwind!
It really annoys me that people get so upset by twinks. We all want to get the best gear possible and we all want to beat other players - doing that at 29 is no different to doing it at 70. Twink-haters claim that it's too easy to create a twink; "all it takes is plenty of gold". This is NOT true. To create a really good twink takes hours of careful planning and quite a lot of skill to be aware of the xp gained from doing quests / discovering new areas at the appropriate times. And, of course, you also need masses of gold ;)
Mar 6th 2008 5:12AM Could 10 Hunters do it?
They can heal pets, which could balance out the lack of healers. Multiiple pets could stand in as a tank, helped by misdirection and feign death.
Plus, 10 x crowd control and AoE would be help for some of the tricky bits.
Oct 18th 2007 6:40AM @28 : You are spot-on.
25 & 26 clearly missed the point.
I usually leave a trap in front of the (final)shackled mob and he invariably walks straight into it before Moroes has been finished off. Insurance ftw!
This video was very informative and invaluable to any Hunter who is new to Kara. The fact that we can all discuss the tactics used and consider improvements/alternatives is very useful to everyone who wants to either learn or share their experience for the benefit of others.
The purely negative comments on here are pointless and, to be honest, quite boring.
Aug 23rd 2007 6:19PM Essential for hunters; KLH ThreatMeter (KTM)
All you do is Feign Death when you start to get anywhere near the tank's agro. Simple. Combine that with Misdirection onto the tank and you can't go wrong. No pulling agro. No dead healer. No angry tank.
As for no pets... if any idiot told me to put my pet away I would leave the group. My pet does 173 dps unbuffed. When you add Bite, Claw, Crits and Kill Command and you have a ferocious killing machine who is an essential part of the team.
Nice article btw :)
Aug 15th 2007 3:33PM As much as I would love some more stable slots, BRK does make a good point. I have 3 pets:
However, only the cat ever comes out to play because cats are so damn cool and they're ferocious killing machines. Cats ftw!!
Jul 19th 2007 4:28AM Yet another brilliant article BRK - well done :)
Snake traps are by far my favourite and I use them all the time; but never when CC is being used (just in case).
Your tip of dropping a frost trap followed by a snake trap is a fanastic idea for large group pulls. Follow this by a nice volley over the whole lot and you've got a floor covered in bodies. You could even pop your pet onto aggressive mode for a few seconds to help those mobs on their way to the afterlife ;)
