Feb 13th 2012 8:42PM @(Unverified) You do when Cortana has an unspecified amount of time on her hands to make modifications while she's drifting in space and trying to keep her rapidly aging past-her-prime AI mind from disintegrating into mass chaos.
Jan 24th 2012 7:31PM I know I'm in the minority, but I prefer the points. I buy them in bulk at discounted prices, anywhere from 5-17% off several times a year on Amazon or Target or wherever. Then they have the standard XBLA sales, and I get a lot of content really cheap and, if points are purchased through the internet, tax-free. With tax through the service and no discounts on points, content will cost me between 11.5 and 23.5% more than I spend now.
It's WAY more than the .$75 cents that some times goes sitting unused in my account for a couple weeks every now and then, which only matters if you are a relatively light user of digital purchases.
Jan 24th 2012 7:27PM @Arturis HD-DVD still was better than Blu_ray. /shrug Beta was better than VHS. These things happen.
Jan 24th 2012 6:20PM Omg 96% Alliance on a server. I though MY server was bad in terms of Horde being outnumbered. o.O
Jan 9th 2012 11:18PM The average Fox News viewer is 65, and that number is getting higher over time. I don't think that's going to be a huge draw for Xbox.
Jan 4th 2012 8:04PM First time in forever I played all 10 on a list like this. And most of the top 20.
Anyone notice the only platform you can play all 10 on? It's a shame there's "nothing to play" on the 360.

Nov 29th 2011 4:21PM @bigwhiteyeti I'm not sure what your point is. MS is dominant in the single biggest market in the world. We could easily flip it around and say that they are forcing Sony's hand, not the opposite. And they are, in a lot of ways. The entry of MS into the market has pushed Sony in ways that they would never have gone otherwise. If you like your PS3 and XMB and PSN, thank MS for providing the incentive. Sony never would've been forced to invest so heavily so quickly in many areas had MS not entered the race in a forceful way. Competition is good, and the fact that all 3 console makers are fairly competitive is a fairly good thing for us as consumers.
Nov 16th 2011 12:11AM @Baagawk $15 for 6 maps + a firefight map is too much? COD charge $15 for 3 reskinned ones. Plus, with Halo maps, each has several variations, so it feels like more than 6. Plus they tweaked weapon balance and a bunch of other things in the title update, they have whole playlists where the pistol is once again king, redid the player speed, the gravity, the recharge rates on shields and health, the way certain guns behave, etc. for all the Anniversary Classic playlists. It's pretty great.
The 343 team have been working their tails off supporting the Halo fans so far. Well worth the $15 investment if you like Reach multi.
Oct 19th 2011 11:24PM I game a LOT. And I buy almost no DLC.
Especially this late in a cycle, there's so many whole games, downloadable and older retail boxes, that be can be bought and played for $10-15 instead of a piece of DLC. I just don't find value in it outside of the one or two most favorite titles I play (for me, Halo map packs and the Oblivion expansions have been just about the only things I HAD to have.) I pick up a few things here and there on sale, but it doesn't drive me in any real way.
