Jul 3rd 2009 1:36AM I wonder how something like this would play out in the west? I mean wow suddenly going down for a month or two, would be interesting to see who's really an addict and who just plays a lot, the shaking of the true addict would give them away :p

Might actually be a boon for the games industry though if WoW was suddenly offline for a few weeks as people turned to other games for a bit.

Frankly I've got no problem with Apple or Macs, what I have a problem with is Apple USERS, they are posers who think because their computer is shiny and costs more then mine while effectively being the exact same damn thing with a different OS and a name-brand-asshole tax on it is better.

News flash, you're still on a damn computer, its not sexy, cool, or anything of the sort, you're still a nerd, only now you're a nerd other nerds hate. Vocal Mac users are the door knocking religious nutters of the computer world, even other Mac users hate them.

That being said I don't think bringing WoW to the Xbox 360 (or the PS3) would be a good idea, the game is already a patchwork doing things it was never intended to do when the basic framework of done. Think of it like a big building with extra floors added on years later, it might work, but it sure as shit wouldn't be stable.

If Blizz did another MMO in the future I could see them doing a cross platform one with at least one console added in, I remember back in the 90s it was a big deal that Blizz games supported Macs, which at the time were largely considered graphics editing stations, so I can see them doing it again, only this time with PC/Mac/Xbox/PS3, a first I think, I don't know of any other MMO game that supports something like that.

The only way I could see them bringing WoW to consoles is if they did a total rewrite of the game engine, something they SHOULD of have done based on their version numbers, but then again since when do companies use those as they are suppose to be used now days...

Arena Season 5 mount is a Frost Wyrm {WoW}

Mar 19th 2009 7:38AM Better be able to get a damn PvE version of it. Arena was fun and interesting when it first came out, now its just pathetic, its dualing for epics, following set comps and strats, no more interesting then most pve encounters.

Oh don't get me wrong PvP is more random then PvE, but it all boils down to "don't stand there" "stop that spell" "heal that person"

If it was a reward from getting 100,000 HKs or rocking out the entire PvP achivement (wtf we just get a title for that?) I could understand it... but arena? ugg.

You can! -20% threat on say a 200k threat lead is 40k, I often sit over 100k threat ahead of the closest DPS.

Feb 24th 2009 11:43AM Glyph of Hand of Salvation (new) - When you cast Hand of Salvation on yourself, it also reduces damage taken by 20%.

Oh that's so going to get nerfed. Its worthless for boss fights for ret and holy unless there is a lot of splash going around, but god-damn is that going to be awesome for Prot.

There are times when I look over at my omen once I get working and I'm 8 or 9 times higher then the closest DPS... even those putting out 110% effort I'm often times still 4/5 times higher, I could afford to eat the threat reduction on a lot of bosses for that extra -damage.

Feb 24th 2009 9:44AM Oh I forgot to say why Reckoning sucks beyond parry gibbing, well for starters its only white damage, sure in the days when we used SoR it was okay... now we all use SoV... guess what an extra attack does if you;'ve got 5 stacks? NOTHING.

I use to have it for AoE grinding to get extra procs of SoL or SoW... now though... its just pathetic.

So yea... QQ!
