May 4th 2009 1:46PM On Skullcrusher, there are a few guilds that have made a name for themselves by inviting PUGs and conveniently ignoring them when it's time to hand out loot. This usually ends up on the realm forums or trade chat, however, and these guilds are now sneered upon by PUGs and established guilds alike.
You reap what you sow.
Apr 30th 2009 10:11AM Agreed. Additionally annoying are those customers who insist on you traveling to them, or inviting you to a group and THEN realizing "oh I probably should go buy mats".
Really? You can't port from Dalaran to the city I'm in? You're a MAGE.
Apr 13th 2009 5:46PM I started unabashedly laughing out loud in the office when I read that and saw the pictures.
Bravo to the Whisperwind hordies who played along.
Apr 13th 2009 10:27AM I love non-combat pets. I don't use them, but I certainly love how I can make a free 300+ gold a week selling Oracles pets.
Apr 13th 2009 8:55AM Every time I see a DK with one of these, I remind myself that my hunter has a Sinister Revenge in the bank. That usually sets the world right.
Mar 23rd 2009 8:45AM Wrath PVE is pretty easy given the gear accessible, so repeated success in raids is not really an eyebrow-raiser. However, when the RNG is clearly rolling in my favor (e.g. 3-4 frost lotus/arctic fur/nobles card in a row), I take notice.
Mar 17th 2009 1:13PM Seconded -- I'm scratching my head trying to figure out how he's not getting one-shotted after the 30 seconds are over.
Mar 12th 2009 5:03PM Awesome. I love things like this that toy with the expected mechanics of the game.
Mar 5th 2009 3:47PM I know that enhancement is without question the fastest soloing class, but leveling a resto shaman in Northrend is quite interesting -- I have no shortage of suitors for group quests and instances. It's like being the prettiest girl at the dance.
Of course, you have to put up with all the unholy DPS DKs that are convinced they can tank, but as long as you pick your spots, leveling as resto is surprisingly fun.
