Gold farmers try to take their game onto guild web sites {WoW}

Jan 22nd 2008 9:18PM Why dont you people understand that blizzard is not that bothered by goldsellers. It is not money out of their pocket, in fact the very opposite is the case. All these goldfarm bots use bought accounts which in turn means more income for blizzard.

There is probably never going to come an end to it anyway.

Blizzard and unintended consequences {WoW}

Jan 15th 2008 9:54AM btw, sorry if that was a bit off-topic, just a little rant after yesterday trying to get the daily quest complete, but having to log out with about 20 marks and still a quest thats not complete. Makes me wanna delete all chars and reroll horde, but if i even got as far as doing something like that, i would rather stop playing alltogether. At the moment PVP is not my main concern anyway.

Blizzard and unintended consequences {WoW}

Jan 15th 2008 9:36AM I am still baffled by how badly alliance loses in our battlegroup (EU cyclone). I am not joking when i say that alliance loses 95% of all BG's except AV. And its not like AV is still ours thanks to the latest change. AV is actually quite equal, usually 50/50 chance of winning.
I am a healadin and almost every BG i join, i'm pretty much the only one doing some healing on alliance side and usually after a few times, all the horde players start targeting me, after they notice me ranking first in the healing chart of the bg. So frustrating sometimes :{

The Light and How to Swing It: Command vs. Blood {WoW}

Nov 28th 2007 5:39AM On a sidenote in regards to SoV. It can be a nice seal if it were stable enough to keep the 5x stack effect on your target. As a holy pally wielding 1H+shield I find it quite effective, but even in my case i sometimes find that I don't proc in time to refresh the 5x stack which means I lose my steady dps on a target. I cannot imagine the anguish of being a retridin who usually use a powerful yet slow 2H weapon. I have not tried this yet, but since I already find it annoying when using a weapon that has a speed of 2.10, I do not even want to try out a weapon that has a speed of 3.50 or more.

Also I do not know if there's a way to increase the proc rating by some kind of stat besides hit rating and and the newly added weapon expertise stat.

Most other paladins I have asked about this, agree that it is not a stable and efficient enough seal to use on a daily basis. For myself, the only place to effectively use SoV is when I am solo'ing mobs with a lot of health but who do relatively little damage. The walking trees on Skettis for example. In some cases I have been in trouble when I did not proc enough to continuesly keep the 5x debuff on the mob during the fight.

Will Druids be getting reliable indoor CC in Wrath? {WoW}

Oct 20th 2007 11:40PM Won't indoor rooting make druids overpowered in WSG? They are already the most effective class in that bg, and with this added, they will be unstoppable i think.

Imagine guarding the flag and a druid comes in to captures it. He takes the flag, roots you and he he's gone. Might as well give them indoor travel form as well i guess.
