Mar 8th 2012 4:38PM Basically, it determines if your attack can/will hit the boss.
Gee. Hmm. Exactly what Hit does.
This stat makes NO sense whatsoever. We already have a stat that does this. ("We" as in "all of the classes", not just "hunters".) It has *never* made any sense.
Nov 29th 2011 9:54AM I looked at all of the creatures camped outside of Wyrmrest Temple and my first thought was:
OH GOD. IT'S OCCUPY WYRMREST!
Nov 13th 2011 9:17AM I'm really, really tired of the hunter sets being heads and eyeballs of whatever we're killing.
Seriously, Blizz - heads and eyeballs?
Have you EVER seen a real hunter wearing this stuff? No.
They might wear pelts, but the heads are mounted on a wall, if they're kept at all.
I always dread seeing the new tier armor previews come out, because I know the hunter set is going to look hideous.
How about a weather-beaten hat to keep the rain out of our eyes, and Mortenebra's noiseless buckles.
If you can't do that, look into ghillie suits. We need to blend in to our surroundings.
Also, I agree with the other commenters about the absolute ridiculousness of rogue armor. This latest set was appalling. How are they supposed to be stealthy when they've got neon blue lights glowing on their shoulders? I don't even play a rogue and I feel sorry for the poor fellows.
Nov 1st 2011 12:59PM Real Qs for the Q:
- Will monks start with cloth and "graduate" to leather, or start with leather and stay there ala rogues and druids?
- What are pandaren shaman totems going to be?
- How many hours does it take to get a fully capped "bar" (it's actually a bar and a half though, isn't it) of rested xp?
- Once a pandaren makes his/her choice at level 10, what zones do they get dropped into, and how do they get there?
- Were there any mailboxes in the Pandaren starting zone? (Probably not, since it's supposed to be the back of a turtle, but we can hold out hope.)
- With raid size expanding up to 15 people, will there be a re-introduction of 3-tank fights?
Oct 30th 2011 3:13PM Yay!! Another Dresden Files reader!
When I saw "foo dogs" Mouse was the first thing I thought of, as well. :)
Oct 23rd 2011 7:14PM Here's a question.
If Blizzard can "normalize" our gear for Challenge Mode dungeons, then why don't they "normalize" the gear of everyone entering a PvP battleground?
Goodbye, resilience. Goodbye, PvE folks being on unequal footing with the hardcore PvP folks due to farming for different gear.
PvP would truly become skill > gear. Isn't that what PvP is supposed to be about, anyway? Skill?

"Also Black Friday is the day after US Thanksgiving, which usually has the best holiday deals and is therefore the busiest day of the year, but also brings out the worst in people and thus considered black."
NO. It has absolutely NOTHING to do with opinions or feelings.
Black Friday is so named because traditionally it is the day when so many retail sales are earned that the store's budget goes from being in the red to being in the black. Holiday sales are what balances out operating costs for the entire year for many retailers, and being "in the black" means that you are finally making a profit as opposed to operating "in the red" (where your profits don't cover operating costs).
Mar 31st 2011 7:05AM Guild Challenges = Rift's Guild Quests.
Next up: Patch 4.2 brings randomly recurring Troll invasions.
"We be takin' over dis quest hub, mon!"
Feb 8th 2011 11:30AM Saedame had an excellent point.
Also, you don't know the GM's personal situation. He could have a handicap. You're assuming that he is capable of putting out more DPS - he could be playing with just one hand. I'm not joking. One of the healers in our guild is only able to play with one hand due to massive injury. He's got everything bound to mouse buttons and macro'd out the ying-yang and does really well. Still, on nights when the pain is intense and/or he's just had a treatment, his healing just doesn't cut it. We don't berate him for it, his health is much more important to us (he is such a great guy, and keeps us laughing).
It could be something simple like he needs to learn a new rotation, but then again it could be something more serious, like an injury or something that makes it a true challenge to even play, much less play like he's in Paragon. Don't assume. What some folks go through just to play this game and how well they do it despite the challenge they're facing at times flat-out amazes me.
Jul 13th 2010 2:00PM I didn't get these at all until I made a post in the great RealID drama thread of 2010.
Now I get at least one a day.
Moral of the story: don't post on the forums even if they're not implementing RealID.
