BlizzCon Charity Auction expands online

Blizzard is breaking out some pretty incredible and exclusive loot from the depths of its vaults for this year's BlizzCon Charity Auction, and you don't have to be at the convention to participate. Proceeds from this year's auction go to Children's Hospital of Orange County -- and Blizzard has lined up quite the collection of items to bid on. This year, the auction will be expanded online for those interested in bidding to help raise money for charity.

Included in the items available are pieces of art from various Blizzard titles, including the amazing Alex Horley painting from Warlords of Draenor, a still from the Lords of War series by Laurel D. Austin and Charles Lee, the cover art for War of the Ancients by Glenn Rane, and many other prominent pieces of art from various Blizzard franchises. And if you're looking for something to place on a shelf, several of Blizzard's Holiday Exclusive pieces are also up for grabs as well.

To check out all the pieces, head to the official BlizzCon Charity Auction page, and keep your eyes peeled -- the online auction begins on November 5, and continues until November 14.

New Blackhand comic at the official site

So, have you ever wondered how he got the name Blackhand? Wonder no more. The latest Warlords of Draenor comic, Blackhand, gives you a glimpse into the history of the Blackrock orcs on Draenor, shows us a tantalizing glimpse of a character we haven't seen much of yet, and answers questions like What happened to Blackhand in this timeline with more questions, really. Still, if watching orcs battle ogres, negotiate with the spirits, and risk death for their people sounds good to you, this is the comic you want to read. Written by Robert Brooks and with art by Alex Horley, it's up now, so go get it.

New Gul'dan and the Stranger comic available now

If you've been wondering, like I have, how the Iron Horde changed the destiny of the alternate Draenor we find ourselves journeying to, then Blizzard is finally doling out some of that information. Gul'dan and the Stranger, a comic downloadable directly and at now cost from Blizzard, has some of those answers for you. Micky Neilson, the author of the comic, assures us that each following issue will also be free to download, so you can read each issue and see what happened to make the Iron Horde a reality, and how the most evil warlock in creation reacted to these events. Man, sometimes it's hard not to spoil things.

The art's by Alex Horley and it looks pretty awesome. I recommend checking it out.
