I have found my new favorite machinima, and it's a year old. Winner of the 2006 Summer Machinima contest Drama/Action category, and featuring not one lick of dialog, Jason Choi's opus created at Riot Films still manages to tell one of the most compelling stories in short film.

The mark of a great WoW film is that it just happens to use WoW as a backdrop, but could stand on its own as a masterpiece no matter how it was filmed. What makes the lack of dialog possible is the use of Scott Buckley's extraordinary and haunting original score, and gToon's artful cinematic editing. Rather than me gush on, watch, and enjoy, but beware, a love triangle and ultimate tragedy lie ahead.
