Jinx, purveyor of all things World of Warcraft-themed, has debuted some of its new designs for the fall lineup of WoW-inspired clothing. The new designs include a lineup of shirts signaling a player's Dungeon Finder role (tank, DPS, healer) and some new Deathwing designs just in time for patch 4.3. In true Jinx spirit, women's sizes and versions are available for all of the new fall designs.

Jinx's designs incorporate WoW elements as part of their motif or in straight-out reference the game, so there is always something for everyone, which I appreciate. I'm the guy who will wear a video game shirt but not something that says "I am a mage" on it. The new role icon shirts are particularly cool to me, since I love minimalistic video game designs on T-shirts and really want that tank shirt. See, world? You need me in your dungeon queue.

Hopefully, Jinx will have just as large of a showing at BlizzCon this year as it did last year, with a gigantic booth and that crazy murloc hoodie that had me scared and amazed me simultaneously. Check out the new fall lineup over at Jinx.

SwagDog has announced two new additions to its World of Warcraft clothing line, including Horde or Alliance Reebok NHL replica jerseys and a short-sleeved Hawaiian design. The NHL jerseys come in two different styles -- a Rookie version that has a Horde or Alliance style, and a Veteran version that allows the purchaser to add a name and number.

Summer is coming up, and SwagDog doesn't want to leave its WoW fans shirtless. The Hawaiian shirts come in both Alliance and Horde versions, each with a tropical-inspired design.

I'm actually writing the first paragraph last this time around. What follows is a discussion of J!nx clothing and a big thumbs-up to its ever-evolving lines of licensed Blizzard goods, as well as a bit of a manifesto on geeky nerd shirts, clothing and audience. From here on out, J!nx is Jinx, not out of disrespect for the brand, but because that many exclamation points within the article would probably give my editor a heart attack, and I'm usually liberal with the exclamation points.

Jinx has, over the past few years, become ubiquitous in the geek community as purveyors of fun clothing and merchandise, licensed and original. It was only a matter of time, really, until a company founded on geeky wear had to make strides into broader clothing lines. If there's one thing that Jinx showed at BlizzCon this year, it was that it is growing.

Addon Spotlight focuses on the backbone of the WoW gameplay experience: the user interface. Everything from bags to bars, buttons to DPS meters and beyond -- your addons folder will never be the same. This week, we'll dress you up in my love, in my love, all over, all over.

We've all experienced it: You're walking into Orgrimmar or Ironforge, intent on visiting the auction house to spend that gold jingling in your pocket, when suddenly you stop dead, dumbstruck. As I walk into the room, I take a look around and I feel out of place. Here I am, standing there with my weapon dripping what looks to be blood and my shoulders trying to bite people who walk by me, while the others in the room are calmly cutting Crystalsong carrots and tenderizing rhino meat. I slide into my cooking set, and I feel much more welcome and much less imposing. With my Salma's Oven Mitts, Cookie's Tenderizer and my spiffy Chef's Hat, I feel like I can step up alongside Katherine Lee and cook to my heart's content.

When the time calls, what equipment sets do you put on? When you go to Ironforge, do you slap on your Blue Brewfest Hat and chug until you pass out? Are you the type to put down a D.I.S.C.O. ball, equip some Blue Suede Shoes and act like you are John Travolta?

Following on the heels of J!NX's new winter line of WoW merchandise, Hot Topic has released a new line of Blizzard-themed apparel just in time for the holidays.

Included among the many newcomers to the line are "spray-painted" Alliance and Horde logo shirts, faction insignia wallets, Starcraft II and Diablo III shirts, hoodies with a neat piece of art depicting an Alliance/Horde battle (replete with male model rocking a worrisome mustache) and, for the ladies in your life, a cute purple "Fight Like a Girl" t-shirt with a set of the highly feminine night elf hunter and blood elf paladin. That's right -- now you too can have a qtbelf on your chest, or the chest of a female WoWer near and dear to your heart. As long as she's a size small or medium, anyway. The other sizes are sold out.

Speaking of near and dear to my heart, that model! Aye aye aye. For her, if that shirt was available in mens' sizes, I'd buy it even if it said "I play as a female character in World of Warcraft." I mean, I do. Several of them, but. You know. Still.

It looks like those creative folks over at J!NX have come up with another batch of World of Warcraft-themed clothing for their summer 2009 collection, and I've got to say that they look pretty darned good. While the first batch of WoW class shirts were nice, I wasn't entirely sold on them. They were good, but personally not good enough for me to run over to Hot Topic and pick one up on impulse. I mean, I wanted to order, but pennypinching prudence got the better of me. The summer collection has a latecomer Death Knight class shirt in the style of the first batch, completing the set, as well as two new class shirts that trample all over my aforementioned prudence.

My wallet is spared for a little while, thankfully, as the first designs are for Hunters and Warriors. As soon as they release the Paladin and Warlock versions, however, my cursor will be on that checkout button faster than you can say "Arenas suck," as the new designs are graphic design home runs. Speaking of home runs, the summer 2009 collection also has a pair of new baseball team shirts -- the Ironforge Anvils and the Thunder Bluff Warstompers -- to go along with the Darnassus Nightsabers, Gnomeregan Bombardiers, Undercity Gravediggers and Durotar's own Hellscream Warchiefs. Likewise, when Silvermoon City's expansion team shirt becomes available, I'll have a few more clothes to fatten my closet. Check out the collection at J!NX and maybe you'll find something to wear at BlizzCon other than that Sea Cows t-shirt you were hoping would score you some points with the ladies.

Though some of you may not have made it outside since the release of Wrath of the Lich King, I assure you that in some places the weather is quite cold.

One way to keep warm this season is by adorning these 100% hand-crafted scarves sold in Wingo's Crochet Shop. Each scarf is reversible and is perfect for the coming winter. She currently has both Alliance and Horde scarves in stock.

Long-time purveyors of WoW wear, Jinx have updated their line with some new spring fashions. There are five new t-shirts available for both men and women, and one nifty Carrot on a Stick keychain (if only it made your car go faster). Many of their older designs (specifically, Alliance, Horde, and each class) are also now available in youth sizes. You're never too young to say "glory to the Alliance" with your t-shirt.

I like most of the new designs, although I still have yet to actually buy anything from Jinx. I'm not too keen on the Illidan one; it's a little melodramatic for me. The Hunter design calls in mind the good old days of Shadowmelded Aimed Shots, and the faux-vintage baseball shirts are cute. My favorite, though, has to be the 8-bit Molten Core shirt (which, by the way, is a limited edition). That's one of my favorite of Blizz's many April Fool's jokes, and it plays well on cotton.

This may not qualify as big news on a day when we learned more about Wrath of the Lich King than we have since Blizzcon, but in case you're in need of a new t-shirt or two, Jinx is having a sale on four WoW-themed designs. Each design, in men's, is available for $5, and they are:

• Horde crest
• Alliance crest
• WoW
• Burning Crusade

Note that all sizes in each of the four designs are out of stock except large and extra-large, so I hope your size is one of those. The sale continues until May 14th -- go get your shop on!

Elizabeth's guide about what to bring and what not to bring onto the show floor at BlizzCon was helpful, but if you only brought what she suggested, you'd show up naked and without your ID. Those of us packing right now to travel across the country and spend the weekend in Anaheim need a little more guidance than that!

And so we've put together a checklist, so you can make sure that from the second you leave your hometown to the second you return, you're well equipped for everything you need to make this BlizzCon perfect. The checklist, perfect for cutting, pasting, and printing as you pack, starts right after the jump.

I play on a number of servers, and a fashion is spreading through them -- players are donning new tabards everywhere from Ahn'Qiraj to Zul'Gurub. The two items, Tabard of the Argent Dawn (left) and Tabard of the Scarlet Crusade, surfaced in the last patch.

The Argent Dawn tabard is obtainable as a result of the invasion event. Initially, you have to take ten Necrotic Runes to the Argent Quartermaster at Light's Hope Chapel. Finishing this quest will activate an Argent Quartermaster, and you can then trade more Necrotic Runes for items like mana potions and Consecrated Sharpening Stones (+AP against undead). For ten runes, the tabard is yours. I found this tedious to solo, but when grouped with a mage and a couple of others the runes flow heavily.
