WoW Moviewatch: Dragon Soul: The Movie
Dragon Soul: The Movie is a cinematic I've been wanting to do for a while now. It's my first real cinematic project, so I'm not really experienced yet with a lot of the technical stuff behind producing a video like this, but I'm still really proud of the way it turned out. This probably took me about 15 hours total, including gathering footage and video editing.I'll admit I was thrown for a loop at first; I mistook the word cinematic to mean story-based. So I spent the first little while waiting for narration to start, until I got, "Oh! You mean cinematic in the pretty, eye-candy sense." That being said, this is a fairly attractive, enjoyable raid video.
Dragon Soul: The Movie is an incredibly attractive movie because Dragon Soul's a pretty good-looking raid. Faralia should be fairly satisfied with the work, but I'd caution against the nine-minute duration. At this point, a snappy group that overgears the encounters can blow through it an hour. A raid video about that experience shouldn't take nearly one-sixth the time of the actual raid.
