Win a 10-Man Raid eyeshadow set from Geek Chic Cosmetics!

If you've ever looked at your class's nameplate color and thought, "I sure wish I could decorate my face with this," then do we have a contest for you. We're proud to team up with Geek Chic Cosmetics (recently profiled in our 15 Minutes of Fame feature), purveyors of fine geek-themed makeup, to offer one lucky winner a full 10-Man Raid eyeshadow set (worth $49). To enter, all you have to do is comment on this post between now and Friday, Aug. 20 at 11:59 p.m. EDT. We'll randomly choose a winner once the contest ends.

There are some official rules, though! For example: you can enter only once. The contest is open to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia and Canada (excluding Quebec) who are 18 and older. Make sure your email address is up to date in your commenting profile, because that's how we'll be getting hold of you if you win.

Also? It'd be really cool if you liked makeup. That's not a rule, though. More of a request.

Bad news, folks -- some of you are in for a day-long maintenance period today, which means no WoW for you until tomorrow. We know, we know, life is hard to bear sometimes. But we've got just the thing to cheer you up!

We're teaming up with FigurePrints to give away three of their new busts -- customizable high-detail statuettes based on your WoW character -- for free! How can you get in on the action, you ask? All you have to do is comment on this post between now and 11:59 p.m. EST on Friday, June 11 with the answer to this question: "What would be engraved on a statue of your character?"

Today you have a chance to get your hands on one of two Slashdance codes, one of two Tiny codes (these are horses for the Alliance and raptors for the Horde), or one Path of Cenarius code.

Blizzard offers Stormrage novel quiz contest

If you're looking for something to do on a lazy Saturday afternoon, here's an idea: Why not win a copy of Blizzard's newest WoW novel, Stormrage? Blizzard is giving away 20 numbered and signed copies of the novel, and all you have to do to win is answer a series of questions about the plot.

Don't worry if you haven't read it, all of the questions and their answers come from 3 recorded excerpts of the novel available on the site. Listen to the excerpts, answer the questions, and you'll be in the drawing. 20 winners will be chosen at random from the correct entries on May 19th, which means you still have quite some time to get your entry in. Plushie Photo Contest: Show us your plushies

So you hopped into the Blizzard Store and ordered yourself a plushie or two. Or maybe you picked up one from BlizzCon. Regardless, there you are, with at least one official Blizzard stuffed toy. Whether you collect them for yourself or have a child for whom you say that you bought them, you have one or more in your home... but now what? Does he sit on your desk? Does he sit on your lap? Is he used to recreate famous in-game battles? And the most important question of all: have you taken pictures of it?

We here at WoW.com want to see your best plushie photos. There will be two categories: Plushies in The Wild and Plushies in Captivity. We will narrow down the best of both categories and offer them up to the readers for voting. The top three of each category will receive loot codes, provided by WoWTCGLoot.com.

Creative giving away WoW headsets on Facebook

Creative is giving away 20 of the new Soundblaster World of Warcraft Headsets from their Facebook page. Just become a fan and comment on the appropriate thread in order to enter the drawing.

These highly anticipated headsets are only available for preorder at this time, but word has it they are fresh off the assembly line and will be available soon. We gave away a few at the end of last year and also got to play around with the prototypes at BlizzCon.

They've given their first three headsets already. So if you are interested, hurry over and leave a comment about what features you are most looking forward to. The contest continues until March 15, 2010.
