Win loot from WoW Insider and WoWTCGLoot.com

The release of War of the Elements, the latest addition to the WoW TCG lineup, is just over the horizon. In preparation for its release, WoWTCGLoot.com has begun its presale contest -- for every piece of War of the Elements loot purchased, you are given a chance to win additional loot, as outlined in its contest rules.

In addition to that, WoWTCGLoot.com has given us some sweet loot to give away ourselves. Today, we have loot codes for one D.I.S.C.O. and one Goblin Weather Machine.
  • For a chance to win the D.I.S.C.O., simply leave a comment on this post. At 11:59 p.m. EDT on March 31, we will disable comments on this post and choose a random winner.
  • For a chance to win the Goblin Weather Machine, follow @WoWInsider on Twitter and send us a tweet telling us why you think you deserve it, in 140 characters or less! We will choose a winner tonight, March 29, at 11:59 p.m. EDT, and select a random winner.
You may only enter each contest once; additional entries may render you ineligible to receive either piece of loot.

If you don't win either of these pieces of loot, don't worry! We have more on the way in the coming days (and weeks).

12 Days of Winter Veil Giveaway Day 7: Goblin Weather Machine loot code

12 Days of Winter Veil is under way here at WoW Insider. That means 12 days of giveaways, from loot codes to literature and gaming mice to graphics cards. Even if you've been a good goblin or a naughty night elf, there's a chance that WoW Insider has a holiday gift for you this season.

For those of you who couldn't enter our other giveaways due to your age or location, here's your chance. WoWTCGLoot.com has donated a Goblin Weather Machine loot code for us to give away. Clicking the weather machine in your inventory creates a random weather effect will appear over your head: sunny, blue skies, thunder, rain or snow.

To enter for a chance to win, leave a comment on this post before 11:59 p.m. ET, Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010. You can only enter once. Make sure your email address is up to date, because that's how we'll get hold of you. We will pick one winner randomly.

Don't forget to check back every day through Jan. 2, 2011, for new contests celebrating the 12 Days of Winter Veil!

EDIT: Contest closed. Thanks and good luck to all who entered!

Latest Upper Deck loot cards revealed, including El Pollo Grande

Boubouille over at MMO Champion has once again been ferreting around in the patch files and he's discovered the next set of loot from Upper Deck's next TCG expansion Fields of Honor which is due out on 30th June.

There is a legend of El Pollo Grande, the scariest chicken in all of Azeroth, the black chicken of death. For years he has been the stuff of myth, summonable only by Niby the Almighty during a Felwood quest chain. Now, however, he has once again returned, this time as a mount. Yes, you heard me right, a giant chicken mount. This El Pollo Grande is not as dark or mean as his namesake, instead looking like a regular -- albeit giant -- chicken and will be an epic land mount. So if you've not yet reached level 60, then consider this your motivation.

Also in the cards (see what I did there?) are an ogre pinata (which I'm surmising will be a BoP item with no charges, like the Goblin Weather Machine). Finally, for those of you who walked the Path of Illidan, there's the Path of Cenarius which leaves flowers in your wake. Nice.
