JINX reveals its spring collection

Image
If you're aiming to add a little Azeroth flavor to your swagger, JINX is the go-to source for WoW swag. After all, JINX is a proven purveyor of WoW clothing, hats, and even the occasional hoodie. JINX's designs tend to be fun, creative, and WoW-flavored with a strong mainstream appeal. It's great stuff, even if you don't want every person who glances at you to instantly think, "Ah, this is a man who's really into video games."

The Spring Collection has finally been announced, heralding the arrival of new designs aplenty for the WoW geek who likes to wear the game on his sleeve. My favorite is probably Property of Tol Barad Prison. After all, after enough games there, I certainly feel like I've given up my soul. Jinx also has a couple of new spray pins that look snazzy attached to backpacks. I'm avoiding faction bias by getting one of each for my Mac's bag.

12 Days of Winter Veil Giveaway: $20 J!NX gift certificates

12 Days of Winter Veil is under way here at WoW Insider. That means 12 days of giveaways, from loot codes to gaming mice to decor and apparel. Whether you've been a good goblin or a naughty night elf, there's a chance that WoW Insider has a holiday gift for you this season.

Baby, it's cold outside ... but rather than make a nuisance of myself and sing awkward, dated excuses to try and make you stay in my home despite your overwhelmingly obvious desire to leave, I'm going to give you an opportunity to win one of five $20 gift certificates from J!NX to put toward a sweatshirt, hat, or other apparel to fight off the winter chill.

Was that sentence long enough? I'm not sure.

To enter for a chance to win, leave a comment on this post before 11:59 p.m. ET, Friday, Dec. 30, 2011. You must be 18 years of age or older and a legal resident of the United States or Canada (excluding Quebec). You can only enter once. Five winners will be chosen at random. Make sure the email address you use to post your entry comments is one you check regularly, because that's how we'll contact our winners. Official rules here.

WoW Insider's 12 Days of Winter Veil celebrations begin tomorrow

The Winter Veil holiday begins tomorrow morning within the World of Warcraft, but it's also kicking off right here on WoW Insider. If you're a long-time reader, you may be familiar with how we celebrate the 12 Days of Winter Veil. If you're not, allow me to explain: We give away a lot of stuff. Like, a lot of stuff. Not only do we clear out the neat things that have accumulated in our storage closet over the course of the last year, but our friends at various WoW product vendors participate, too.

In addition to what's been sitting in my office closet (hint: BlizzCon exclusives), this year you'll be seeing prizes from ...

New Jinx designs revealed for fall lineup

Jinx, purveyor of all things World of Warcraft-themed, has debuted some of its new designs for the fall lineup of WoW-inspired clothing. The new designs include a lineup of shirts signaling a player's Dungeon Finder role (tank, DPS, healer) and some new Deathwing designs just in time for patch 4.3. In true Jinx spirit, women's sizes and versions are available for all of the new fall designs.

Jinx's designs incorporate WoW elements as part of their motif or in straight-out reference the game, so there is always something for everyone, which I appreciate. I'm the guy who will wear a video game shirt but not something that says "I am a mage" on it. The new role icon shirts are particularly cool to me, since I love minimalistic video game designs on T-shirts and really want that tank shirt. See, world? You need me in your dungeon queue.

Hopefully, Jinx will have just as large of a showing at BlizzCon this year as it did last year, with a gigantic booth and that crazy murloc hoodie that had me scared and amazed me simultaneously. Check out the new fall lineup over at Jinx.

BlizzCon 2010: J!nx shows off with murloc hoodies and new arrivals

I'm actually writing the first paragraph last this time around. What follows is a discussion of J!nx clothing and a big thumbs-up to its ever-evolving lines of licensed Blizzard goods, as well as a bit of a manifesto on geeky nerd shirts, clothing and audience. From here on out, J!nx is Jinx, not out of disrespect for the brand, but because that many exclamation points within the article would probably give my editor a heart attack, and I'm usually liberal with the exclamation points.

Jinx has, over the past few years, become ubiquitous in the geek community as purveyors of fun clothing and merchandise, licensed and original. It was only a matter of time, really, until a company founded on geeky wear had to make strides into broader clothing lines. If there's one thing that Jinx showed at BlizzCon this year, it was that it is growing.

J!NX unveils fall 2010 World of Warcraft t-shirts

Do you wear clothing? If you do, you can wear clothing that tells everyone who sees you that you're scared of a level 11 gnoll elite. And much more, to be fair, because J!NX has announced the fall 2010 lineup, and BlizzPlanet has the details.

Paladins and death knights finally get their 'Legendary' t-shirt designs, there's a couple of nice hoodie designs (I'm partial to the Horde one myself, looks more natural as a spray style) and much more. Go check it out. Heck, while you're at it, you can always get an old favorite of mine.

J!NX releases exclusive shirt designs for Europe

They already get self-cleaning public toilets, over a thousand distinct kinds of cheese and Kelly Brook. This time around, Europeans get more cool things by way of J!NX, those purveyors of geek couture, who have released three new World of Warcraft shirt designs exclusive to Europe. One design features a poster promoting an arena match between a gnome and a tauren in the style of a bullfight. It's nice and funny, but probably not something I'd mind not being available in my region. On the other hand, the two other designs feature the upcoming new races of Cataclysm -- the worgen and goblin, complete with claw scratches for the former just to add a little more badassness. If you're a fan of the promotional art for these two new races, this probably isn't good news if you live in one of the other six continents.

For the Europeans, the shirts are available for ordering at €17.99 to €20.99, depending on your size. The shirts are available only in black in both men's and women's sizes. For everyone else -- or everyone else in the United States, anyway -- get back at the Europeans by walking into a nearby Hot Topic and pick up an exclusive Save the Murlocs shirt. Sorry Asians, Africans, Australians, South Americans and even that one lone dude living in Antarctica -- we'll have to make do with all the basic stuff.
