Happy Tuesday morning, everyone. While patch 5.1 looks like it will remain on the PTR at least another week, that's probably a good thing. We haven't even cleared all the patch 5.0 raids yet. In fact, Blizzard is delaying the release of the last raid even more. But heck, forget the next patch, Blizzard's already working on the next expansion.

With this breakneck pace, it's no wonder downtime this week is nothing but rolling restarts starting at 10 a.m. PDT. If you want to get off the roller coasting for a few minutes, we're here with some nice, soothing WoW news to calm you down -- or, you know, just get you all excited about patch 5.1 again. Happy Tuesday morning, everyone. You know, I'm going to admit it. I'm dangerously close to agreeing with Rossi on this. I have some quibbles over certain aspects of lore and a few quest areas, but Mists of Pandaria is easily the best expansion since Burning Crusade and could be in severe danger of surpassing it if the patches don't disappoint. Honestly, my biggest problem at level 90 is that I don't have time to do everything I want. I have reputation to get for gear, but I also have friends to make in Halfhill and fish to catch for Nat Pagle. I'm also pretty ashamed that my battle pet team isn't even close to level 30 yet. With all this stuff to worry about, I could almost wish for a 7 month break between patches right about now.

Mists of Pandaria comes ever closer, and Blizzard's gearing up, from announcing launch events to showing TV spots. My favorite piece of news this week, however, is Ghostcrawler's triumphant entrance to Twitter. You can now receive Greg T. Street's wit and wisdom delivered to your smartphone in bursts of approximately 140 characters each. I myself was able to get some clarity on a question that's been near and dear to my heart for some time. Does the "T" stand for Tiberius? Ghostcrawler told me it doesn't, but he's willing to entertain a name change. I'd say that's what our country is all about, ladies and gentlemen.

The big news of the week, of course, is patch 5.0.4, which now on live servers. We, of course, have been offering all the news and guides you'll need to stay informed on how the patch works and how your class has changed. One of the most pleasant changes for me, personally has been the increased leveling speed. Suddenly, it's sort of fun to level again, and I already have a new level 85 warrior as a result, thanks in part to Rossi's excellent warrior guides.

There's non-patch news too, as well. My favorite tidbit is the news that they're working on new Orc and Human models. As someone who plays a human male main, I'm definitely looking forward to possibly not looking like a shaved gorilla, I won't lie.

Forget about Varian -- I want this guy for high king. Look at him. He's manlier than Gaston up in here.

In other news, we continue to explore the Mists of Pandaria beta, and almost as exciting, the Curiosity Rover continues to explore Mars. That picture up there? It's a color picture of another planet. That means we have less than two months to go until the release of Mists of Pandaria. That doesn't mean beta testing has slowed down any, though. We're still getting near-weekly patches and lots of raid testing. We've even seen the introduction of the Tillers, the FarmVille-style faction. Happy Tuesday morning, everyone. The patch 5.0.4 PTR is live now, complete with patch notes. While it's not Mists itself, it's another milestone on the road and another sign that a release date might just be coming our way soon. The big news for me this week though is the possibility of a Digital Deluxe version of the expansion. As someone who makes almost all of his media purchases in digital form these days, including his computer games, I love that I may finally have that choice in Mists. On the other hand, I've been buying those big old Collector's Edition boxes for years now. Do I really want to break that tradition?

Happy Tuesday morning, everyone. After this week's news, I think we can safely say that we all hate July. I don't mean we hate it because it's too hot or because fireworks are too loud or whatever. I just mean that August is so much more awesome. Apparently, all the really cool stuff is happening in August. Whether it's a new cinematic or a new novel, we're getting lots of cool new stuff in August. Who knows? We might even get a new expansion in August, at this rate. Basically, what I am saying is that July is horrible and needs to be over with soon.
