While Warlords of Draenor is set to include ten levels worth of new content for players, Senior Game Designer Jonathan LeCraft confirms that the level cap for battle pets will remain at 25.

Since we've previously seen the level and difficulty of pet battles increase as the zone level increased, this indicates a curious change for pet battles. Will we simply see additional battle pet content with no difficulty increase from Mists? Or is this a sign that we won't be getting much more battle pet content at all? We don't know anything for sure, but we're keeping our eyes peeled for more info.

Leveling a new pet from 1 to 25 can be a time-consuming slog -- but it doesn't have to be. Though you'll need to start with a few solid level 25 pets, you can let two max-level pets carry you while saving your third slot with a that needs the experience.
