No, we're not worried about the impending flood of Death Knights at all. We're sure everything will be fine (though we still advise everyone lock their doors at night and beware undead bearing gifts). However, if we walked up to the Menethil docks and found this crew waiting... well, we might suddenly remember that we left the oven on or perhaps that our cat was on fire.

Yesterday I posted Ask a Lore Nerd, in which I asked you, the readers, to ask me any lore questions you'd like. Your questions came, and I'm doing my best to answer! There were quite a lot of questions, many of them multi-part questions, so I haven't been able to get at all of your questions today. I picked ten comments, answered their questions, and I'll get to the rest of them as soon as possible! Don't be afraid to ask further questions. Keep them coming!

Milkingit asks: Where do murlocs come from?

Answer: We don't know for sure, but there are many theories. Their appearance on land is supposedly a rather recent event, but it's likely that murlocs have been living on the ocean floor for many thousands of years, walking Azeroth even longer than Trolls. The Trolls have been believed to be the oldest sentient race on Azeroth, so if the murlocs came first, they're a very old race and we may never know their exact origin.

There are also a few theories on what has inspired murlocs to move inland. The naga taking over the ocean depths may have driven the murlocs inland. The murlocs may be in cahoots with the naga, and the infestation of the mainlands is a tactical move. The murlocs may also be being controlled by Neptulon or some other force, and are doing his/their bidding. We may learn more in Wrath of the Lich King, as the murlocs make a comeback there.

This week, our characters are starting to deal with the aftermath of the Naga attack. For some, the loss is a little more personal. As the Naga will soon find out, they killed the wrong person. As usual, click the image above to view today's page, or the gallery below to start from the beginning.

Etherjammer wrote in detailing how he was able to tame a dragonhawk at level 10. Now, this was intriguing enough that I decided I needed to try it. In his blog post he describes a journey that starts in Menethil and ends in Fairbreeze Village. What's the caveat? You run dead. Since my hunter is level 40 I decided to start my jog in Southshore where she is currently bound. If you decide to try this at a lower level, I would suggest swimming up from Menethil to Southshore and beginning your death jog from there.

Step one: Die: I would suggest stripping off any gear you care about and let a nasty (or three) eat you.

Step two: The jog begins: The first leg of the journey takes you up past Tarren Mill and Strahnbrad. From there follow the road west to Chillwind camp.

I know we had a crazy purple Menethil sunset just a few days ago, but Will sent in this incredible shot of a boat pulling into the harbor just around dawn. And, really, what a difference the time of day makes to that sky -- this placid blue sky is just about the opposite of the purple and white starburst sunset. Enjoy -- but, okay, I promise, I'll steer away from sky shots for a while now.

Reader Mike sends in this amazing shot of Menethil Harbor right around sunset. I'm always a bit fascinated by how the sky manages to have a unique look in every zone of the game, and each zone with its own unique sunset. Menethil, as you see, has this purple tinge, and the sun itself is a burst of white light. Does the sunset in the Barrens look like this? I think not!
