If you look on mmo-champion, there is a tanking ring with strength named "Tanking Ring" so I would say it is now a valued stat for all tanks. Since they wanted tanks to be able to solo easier.

Ret Buffs via a CC, 2% increased damage to entire raid, and others will be nice.
