With the release of new monk glyphs onto the Mists of Pandaria beta servers, submitter Saphixeron of Yingyang Eagles on Argent Dawn (EU-A) took the opportunity to test out the Glyph of Zen Flight. Here he is, flying through the air on a cloud of ... what? Come on. You know you're thinking it. Just say it. Panda farts.

Around Azeroth Beta Edition: The great migration

The swallows of Capistrano are for amateurs and tourists. In the late spring, real thrill-seekers descend upon Shan'ze Dao in Townlong Steppes to watch the dragons of Pandaria return to their ancestral homelands, led by the dragon god Hei Feng. The migration is beautiful and only has a 60% fatality rate among spectators when it's raining outside. (Thanks to beta tester Antillesw of Knights of Honor on Stormwind [US-A] for the screenshot!)

Around Azeroth: Ooh, little sleepy boy, do you know what time it is?

Late-night raiding has many hazards -- drunken raid leaders, random drop-outs, players distracted by whatever's on Adult Swim at the moment. But nothing is more deadly than the dreaded nap attack. Warlock Randomnoobs of Group Three on Tichondrius (US-H) was struck by a sudden wave of fatigue during Dragon Soul and had to have a bit of a lie-in while his guildmates were off fighting on the other side of the room. No wonder he had such vivid dreams about tentacle attacks.

"Ambassador to Blackmaw? Really?" queries submitter Marcao of Blade's Edge (EU-H). "Black with a slight touch of orange clearly indicates that these robes are meant to be worn by the Ambassador to the Black Dragonflight. I've complemented the robes with couple of light swords, just in case the end of the dragon age needs to be hastened."

If one were interested in rallying an army of minions to take over the world, a gang of punk gnomes and a Murkablo may not be the best choice. No matter how inspiring your speeches on the streets of Stormwind are, the moment you turn your back, they'll be off drinking the Azerothian equivalent of Everclear and grape juice and looking for very small goth ladies. "Curse you, Sylvanas!" writes submitter Revets of Sutekh Orbitas on Eonar (US-H). "Your coin would be the one to plague me as the last I need for my achievement. I swear she took that coin with her to the afterlife. This is the final straw! No more Mister Nice Tuskarr." Cursing Sylvanas is kind of redundant, since she's already cursed, isn't she?

OK, I'll admit this looks like it's about to become a gruesome reminder for Azerothian parents to always secure the door to your hovel when leaving for a day's adventuring. But in fact, this vicious tiger is simply a Pandarian social worker, here to remove an innocent baby tauren from its hookah- and hooch-contaminated home and reassign it to some loving adoptive NPCs who actually spend some time at home. (Thanks to Tillamooke of The Kalimdor Inquisition on Maelstrom [US-H] for the screenshot!)

You really have to feel sorry for the denizens of Hellfire Peninsula. They have to live in possibly the most hated zone in the game, the first expansion zone, the one that everyone has already slogged through five times and where most adventurers can recite the quest text by heart. And whenever something new and interesting comes on through -- like, say, a spin-kicking, bipedal panda -- they don't even have a chance to ask questions before the newcomer kills them, skins them and moves on. Submitter Kittens of Earthen Ring (EU-A) set up this lovely picnic in the Valley of the Four Winds, but she was unable to find anyone to share her perfect moment with her other than a passing crane. I feel for you, Kittens -- with all the new releases out lately, Azeroth is getting a little lonely. At least I have Lego Harry Potter 2 to ease my pain, because at heart I am 10 years old and still get a thrill out of building Lego objects.

Guys? I'm really sorry to have to say this, but unless someone in this battleground has a method for ending an acid trip really quickly, I don't think I'm going to be much help this round. Why did I decide this was a good time to do Warsong Gulch? Why? At least it's less terrifying than when I got baked and played Bioshock. (Thanks to submitter Noah for the screenshot!)

"Keen as she was, she'd sometimes go overboard, and this time was no different. The first Stormwind Fishing Tournament was also the last for a while, due mainly to her deployment of the Dwarven Fishing Pole throughout the city's canals."

Submitter Shamryu of I N F I N I T Y on Frostmourne (US-H) writes, "We were doing 25-man Dragon Soul, and while we were sitting on the boat waiting to fill a couple of spots, I noticed I could cast Far Sight of the side of the bow. This is what I saw. It's like a ship in a bottle, with a storm in it too ... and 22 very bored Hordies. I don't think Blizzard ever expected someone to try targeting this spell off the side of the ship."

Around Azeroth Beta Edition: I wish I were the moon tonight

Beta tester Brightfang of Lost Isles was flying to Thunder Bluff when he noticed that Azeroth's second moon has returned to the sky. It's nice to see it back from wherever it went off to when it disappeared from outer space in The Burning Crusade. Unless ... my God. That's no moon. It's a Death Star sent from Bioware's offices to destroy the competition! Evacuate Azeroth!
