- Warlocks will no longer be able to give people the increased buff from Improved Demonic Tactics when they switch specs or otherwise lose the talent, and their Glyph of Imp will now not affect all warlock pets.
- Maloriak in BWD is now going to prefer to cast his Flash Freeze on ranged players and won't cast it on a player specced to tank. Tanks can still have it chained onto them, however.
- Bountiful Bags guild perk will no longer create more keystone items from archaeology finds.
- The goblin racial Best Deal Anywhere will now only work with vendors you have reputation with and won't stack with exalted guild reputation dealing with guild vendors.

What is the story behind the dragons in the elemental planes? Most specifically, the stone drakes. Did they simply form from rock, or were they part of one of the dragonflights, and somehow got bound eternally to deepholm?

Question - how is hit scaling going to work in firelands? I have a vague memory of blizzard mentioning they want the higher level raids to potentially require more hit.
We know that making more hit necessary as tiers progressed was a goal for Cataclysm, but we haven't heard anything about it for a while. It hasn't made an appearance in the UI on the patch 4.2 PTR, either, as far as I'm aware. At this point, I'm not sure if the design is still in place. We'll have to wait for patch day (or word from Blizzard).

Well, all we've heard from the PTR for warriors is deafening silence. As I said before, my general distrust of patches has been fully awakened with patch 4.2's complete lack of enormous nerfs.
The past week has been pretty active for me. While every boss in every raid who can drop shoulder armor of any kind has endlessly refused to, Cho'gall finally coughed up my axe, so I'm happy about that. I'm also working to gear up my other worgen warrior (he's pretty solidly ilevel 356 by now) and have started the climb on my tauren warrior. I just missed ol' hornhead so much that I'm willing to put up with Warchief NoNeck.
I've also been running parse after parse on both my 85 warriors, in both SMF and TG specs and various gear sets -- literally dozens of parses. Why? Because I had a nagging voice in the back of my head after I recently argued that hit now totally overshadows mastery as a fury DPS stat. I want some Nutter Butter cookies, the voice whispered. Even though they don't sell those up here in Canada, I want them. Thankfully, after I got it some lesser cookies, it shut up about that and instead insisted I test my assertions out for myself. The results kind of surprised me.
I impressed myself with how much my Mass Effect 2 Shepard looked like Farscape's Claudia Black. Now you get to see it, too.
Will current T11 gear drop in iLvl to match heroic content iLvl when it becomes purchaseable with JP's? Meaning, will it suddenly become iLvl 246 or will it stay 259? I've heard it both ways and I would like a clarification of what exactly will happen to that tier level gear.
Heck, no! The items will remain at their current item level (359). Your method of acquiring them (JPs instead of VPs) is the only thing about them that'll change.

This expansion launched on Dec. 7, 2010. That means we're into our sixth month of the expansion now. That makes it a good time to stop and take stock of the expansion so far, what it's meant for PVP and PVE, DPSing and tanking. With patch 4.2 and the Firelands right around the corner, we're on the cusp of some pretty significant changes. New gear (including a whole new tier) will expose the class and its scaling in ways the first tier never can, and new encounters will alter the balance between ranged and melee classes. As a melee class and a tanking class, warriors are always pretty solidly mired in these kinds of changes, for good or for ill.
So let's take a look at where we're coming from this far.
- Players using the Mobile Guild Chat app should no longer get error messages stating that they aren't in a guild.
- Mail that's sent from the auction house should no longer display incorrect information about the transaction; this includes transactions from the Mobile Auction House as well.
- Players should no longer get stuck or crash while in a battleground or arena queue.
The Gurubashi trolls were once the greatest empire of jungle trolls in the world, rivals to the great forest troll empire of Zul'Aman to the north and a power to be reckoned with. Their tens of thousands of years of history have seen wave after wave of humiliation, defeat and loss, and they are without a doubt responsible for much of that defeat. They have consorted with powers not to be trifled with and driven their neighboring troll tribes into slavery or exile.
The empire of the Gurubashi, centered in their great city of Zul'Gurub, was founded after the great war with the Aqir that forever divided the insect state into the distant northern Nerubians and the southern Qiraji. While this defeat was near-total for the arthropod empire, it also fractured troll society forever. Before the war, the Zandalar tribe had stood preeminent, although it was the Amani and Gurubashi who led the charge against the Aqir. Theirs was the hereditary rulership of all troll tribes, theirs was the way of scholarship and it was to them that the hereditary priesthood of the trolls derived its furthest development.
Yet none of these facts could prevent the division of the trolls. After the war, a weakened and shaken Zandalar tribe found itself no longer the center of troll society. It still ruled the ancient birthplace of all trolls, it was still respected ... but the power had forever shifted to the Amani and Gurubashi, and it was not to shift back for tens of thousands of years.

I doubt it will surprise anyone to discover that I have strong opinions about the new Call to Arms feature for the Dungeon Finder. As a warrior, I play one of the classes that can fill the tanking role, and I have gear that is more than adequate for even the Rise of the Zandalar heroics. As a result, you might expect that I'm out there tanking a load of heroics for instant queues and a chance at free pets and mounts.
You'd be wrong. I haven't queued as a tank since patch 4.1. I have not, of my own will, tanked a single heroic since before February. When I have, it's been for friends or guildmates -- and yes, it's been generally successful. Why am I not tempted by the extra rewards of the CTA? Well, there are three reasons.
- The targeting reticule for AoE spells and abilities like Magmaw's chains should no longer disappear when players cast spells.
- Animations while mounted should work normally again. Say hello to your ponies, they're now moving correctly!
- Character legs should move properly when the character is moving.
When Cataclysm launched, it brought with it a new design for low-level crafting alts. In order to progress to the most desirable items, players had to get access to a "trader" NPC located in a phased area of the Twilight Highlands. This could not be done until level 84. A lot of auctioneers leveled a lot of alts they otherwise wouldn't have just so they could max out professions. I, however, was not one of them. And my laziness (or prescience?) seems to have paid off, because as of patch 4.1, all the previously locked profession content is now available from your friendly local profession trainers!

- Instant deaths
- Crashing addons
- The issue preventing some players from mailing account-bound items to other characters on the same realm and Battle.net account has been addressed. If you're still experiencing the issue, try logging on to both characters before sending the mail.
- Players who have recently switched factions should now be able to properly get quests for Children's Week.
- Call to Arms rewards should now be displayed in the dungeon finder UI while the player is in the dungeon.
- In Zul'Aman, Akil'zon's Static Disruption will no longer chain if players are more than 5 yards apart. Not only that, but he'll only cast it every 12 seconds, up from 5. Healers rejoice!
- Death Knights can now cast Death and Decay correctly on Cho'gall's trapdoor.
- Druids will note that Efflorescence's effects will now heal targets standing on Cho'gall's trapdoor.
- Paladins can now cast Consecration on Cho'gall's trapdoor.
