Patch 4.3 has a ton of really lovely new music. From the haunting melodies in the Well of Eternity instance to the jaunty tunes of Darkmoon Island, there is an amazing amount of new stuff to listen to. While I know most people don't do it, I'd suggest when the patch hits, take a minute, turn your music up, and listen to the tracks in the new areas -- they're gorgeous.

If you've never seen Illegal Danish before, man, you are missing out. It was one of the first machinima I ever watched, and it's still just as funny years later. Speaking of things from years ago, Blog Azeroth had a shared topic suggested by Mia over at the Chronicles of Mia that posed a good question: If you could bring back any feature of WoW from days gone by, what would that be? Here are a few bloggers with some answers to the question.

I am really, really terrible at PvP. There's a reason I don't do Arenas: Because I am 100% fully aware that this is not and will most likely never be a strong suit for me. My idea of PvP on my rogue is Run in screaming my fool head off, spam Fan of Knives, desperately hope there is a healer behind me. Rather than bang my head against the wall, I will continue quietly stepping out of the way and letting other far more capable people do the PvP.

My very first character ever back in vanilla WoW was a druid. I loved the class, even though it took me a while to get the hang of it. But once the whole aspect of being able to shift in and out of various forms to survive darn near anything kicked in, I was relatively unstoppable. I switched from Alliance to Horde after hitting level 60, and from druid to priest. But I still loved druids, and I loved raiding with them. One of the top druids in my vanilla raiding guild was simply brilliant; he was a healer, but he'd swap between forms all the time if there was something he could do to help.

And that was the druid class to me, in a nutshell -- the extreme versatility of being able to do just about anything because you could simply shift forms. I loved it. I still love it, and I have two druid alts, though I rarely play them these days (not enough time in the day). There've been some pretty interesting conversations around the blogosphere about the state of druids in the upcoming expansion, however, well worth reading.

• Restokin has a two-part post detailing what exactly is wrong with having a melee moonkin.

I remember my first experience with talent points back in vanilla. I'd just hit level 42 or so, and the buddy I was leveling with asked me what tree I'd put my talent points into. Somewhat bewildered, I asked, "What are talent points?" ... turns out all those messages when I dinged weren't just reminders that I was even more talented and awesome than previously before.

In Mists of Pandaria, we can look forward to a radically different re-envisioning of the talent trees -- or should I just say talents in general, since we won't have trees anymore? Regardless, here are a few posts from around the blogosphere concerning the upcoming new talents.
